Legend of the Veil: Sudds Picture Quest Guide

A quick guide we threw together to make doing Legend of the Veil easier during Sudds' riddle part. We will add info as we feel it's needed.

Where is Sudds? (WIP)

Sudds can be found at most of the large islands of the Sea of Thieves. When you receive this part of the quest just match the phrase or location written within your Quest Book to find Sudd's location in the Sea of Theives.

Ancient Isles Sudds Locations

Discovery Ridge

"The sun stone was calling to me... led me to Discovery Ridge. Make Haste. The Servant already knows too much..."
On the first island off the western point of the island. He is standing next to a large rock with a sun painting.

Snake Island

"Three mighty palms on a serpent isle... there you'll find me, I have much to tell you. Ancient knowledge to share, knowledge of the Veil Stone."
Under the three palms in the middle of the eastern island.

Crook's Hollow

"I have charted the sacred places of the Ancients, found 'em, searched 'em. Now i need assistance. I'll wait near the Ancient head on Crook's Hollow."
On the southern side at the top of the island. Next to a large stone head nearby to the large brazier.
"You'll find me on Crook's Hollow. I'm warming my bones by a fire in front of my wee pinchy pal."
On the north-east shore of the northern tip of the island. Found standing in front of a large rock with a crab painting on it with a cooking fire nearby.

Plunder Valley

"The two worlds must remain parted. Find me near the shipwreck on the east beach of Plunder Valley. No veil stones for him, he can't have them."
On the east shore of the island just west of the wrecked galleon. Next to a cooking pan and the start of the Art of the Trickster tall tale.
"Always more to discover. I have examined the Ancient shire on Plunder Valley and heard the whisper of the Ancients. I know where the Veil Stone is."
In the center of the island near the peak. Found next to the Ancient Shrine at the top.
"Hurry to Plunder Valley. Ol' Sudds is not too proud to admit when he needs help. I'll be watching my friends while I wait."
On the Highest point of the island near to the large sconce on the peak. Standing next to his telescope.

Thieves' Haven

"North-eastern shore, canvas and a haven for thieves. My mind is churning, Ancient and now, too much knowledge for one head... Come and find me."
On the small shore to the north-east of the island. Standing in front of the small ship hut and a cooking fire.
"Knowledge, hard won, but powerful. Join me by the abandoned shelters on Thieves' Haven and we'll follow in the footsteps of the ancients."
On the top side of the island towards the north-east. Standing next to the abandoned log structures.

Devil's Ridge

"The stone head on Devil's Ridge whispered to me, it spoke of the Veil Stones. Come as soon as you can."
On the East side of the island next to the giant stone head along the path up the island. Near the cave entrance.

Shores of Plenty Sudds Locations

Mermaid's Hideaway

"High on Mermaid's Hideaway, great vantage point. Much to tell you, too much, must get it written down. Two worlds that must never be one. Hurry."
On the Highest point of the south side of the island. Next to a destroyed building.
"I'll wait for you in the ruins on Mermaid's Hideaway. Make haste, this knowledge must not fall into the wrong hands."
On the southern side of the island just before the highest point with the other ruins. Standing around the ruins at the edge of the cliff before the bridge.

Cannon Cove

Stones of power, great power. Flameheart must not have the Veil Stones. Meet me at the beach camp on Cannon Cove and I'll share what I know"
On the north-west shore of the island in the middle of the cove. Found next to the cooking fire and camp.

Sailors' Bounty

"Time, it moves so fast. Join me at the camp atop Sailors' Bounty. We'll reach back in time, we will, and find the location of a Veil Stone."
On the main island on the southern side. Found on the highest peak of Sailors' Bounty in the middle of a camp behind the large hole in the center of the island.

Lone Cove

"Lone Cove, lone rock, standing tall. Come and find me, I have something important to give you."
In the center of the island, next to the large, tall rock in the center of the abandoned settlement. Found nearby to the cooking fire.
"Silent as the grave, oh yes I am. Come to Lone Cove and I'll reveal the location of the stone."
On the south side of the large, tall rock in the center of the island. Standing next to the cooking fire in the middle of the abandoned settlement.

Wanders Refuge

"Not all who wander find what they seek, but ol' Sudds did, oh yes he did. Come to the south beach of Wander's Refuge and I'll tell you more."
On the south shore of the island among the wrecked buildings. Found standing next to the three palms between the two abandoned buildings.

Smugglers' Bay

"Libraries are sacred places, repositories of knowledge. Come and find me on Smugglers' Bay, I have Ancient knowledge to impart."
One the north eastern side of the bay, on the rock ridge. He is found next to a few books under a tree.

Crescent Isle

"Come to the island in the shape of a crescent, I'll be watching my friends atop the rock."
On the south-western side of the island, on top of a rock on the edge of the island. He is standing next to his stargazing equipment and books.
"Five there were, and barnacled. I'm on the east beach of Crescent Isle with knowledge to share."
On the tip of the south side of the crescent. Near a large rock right against the shoreline.

The Wilds Sudds Locations

Marauder's Arch

"His return must not come to pass... the stones, protect the stones. The north of Marauder's Arch, by the canvas shelter, come find me."
On the north shore of the island at the canvas shelter east of the graveyard.

The Crooked Masts

"A white flag waves in the breeze over The Crooked Masts... you'll find me there. Must protect the knowledge, protect the power, protect the stone."
On the south side of the island, on the upper portion you can easily walk up to on the eastern side. Next to a white hanging flag and some resource barrels.

The Sunken Grove

"At The Sunken Grove, by a chest covered in barnacles, I made my breakthrough! All down on paper, precious knowledge, must be protected."
On the north-east side of the island, nearby the north-eastern islet. Next to the dug up hole with two opened barnacle chests and a few resource barrels.

Kraken's Fall

"The Veil Stone wasn't in the chest on the north of Kraken's Fall, should have known, should have known... The Ancients buried the stones deep, come find me and I'll tell you all."
On the north-eastern beach near by to the white flag and the resource barrels. He is standing next to a dug up, open barnacle chest.

Shipwreck Bay

"Monsters of the deep, the Ancients revered and feared them. On the north shore of Shipwreck Bay, you'll find me. The Ancients have whispered their secrets to ol' Sudds."
On the north shore of the island. Found under a kraken skull next to Grogsoaked Ed.

The Devil's Roar Sudds Locations

Fetcher's Rest

"The Ancient Priest took his own life, did he find his people again? Will I ever know? Join me by the scarecrow on Fetcher's Rest and I'll tell you what I do know about the Ancients."
On the northern island, standing in the middle of the sandy beach. Next to a rock and a scarecrow.

The Devil's Thirst

"Not for him, can't be for him.Protect the knowledge, protect the Veil. Find me by the looters remains on The Devil's Thirst and help me protect the Veil Stone."
On the northern island, standing under four trees in a patch of grass. Next to some burnt skeleton remains and a couple resource barrels with an ammo box.
