person below me i did same strat

DLC -> Megalo Menya Moonspell (is invincible) -> move early to boss (for me was around 8th minute) -> easy kill

I had no luck with Leda, but Marrabbio with additional knives did it in 2 min

why try without egg?

This strategy worked for me. It just took a little more time (Around 7:00). Try to change from front to back of the monster so that the majority of your projectiles hit the monster. I also used Phiera Der Tuphello which helped me as well

You can't keep killing the skeletons or the ball gets bigger and it was impossible for me to defeat. Looks like you have to go beat it quickly.

This is not how it worked for me. The big ball of skulls just kept getting bigger as I dealt it damage. It eventually filled a whole screen. Also chests stopped dropping pretty early on.
Any idea what that was about?
