What for?
Autoexec is used to permanently save your own settings (commands, binds, aliases) in CS: GO. Using config, you won't have to enter the same commands in the console each time you start the game, but they will run themselves.

The aliases themselves cannot be entered in the console, so you need your autoexec to use them.
How to make a Config?
First we need to go to the cfg folder - all the config files are there.
The path to this folder looks like this:
  • If you downloaded the game recently:
    X:/Steam/UserData/TWÓJ_STEAM_ID/730/local/cfg
  • Or if you downloaded the game some time ago:
    steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo/cfg

Once you've found the cfg folder, the next steps are very simple.
  1. Copy any file with the ending .cfg to the desktop (e.g. Al.cfg).
  2. Rename it to autoexec.
  3. Open the file with any text editor and delete all its contents ( Notepad ++ is very good for this[//]).
  4. After typing the commands (you can find them in this guide - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2846854172), at the very end of the file add host_writeconfig. Autoexec will not work without it.
  5. Move the autoexec file to the cfg folder.

And that's all. The file has already been created, now it is enough to configure it as desired, i.e. enter all the necessary commands.
Config configuration
We open config with any text editor and type in the following lines separate commands, aliases, binds that we want to use in CS:GO (you can find them in this guide - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2846854172).

To somehow organize this file, we can make any title / note over the different categories of commands, just add two signs // at the beginning of the new line. This allows you to have a much clearer file.

An example config might look like this, but it's up to you how you do it:

Remember to add host_writeconfig at the end of the file!
After saving, everything should work.
Undoing/Deleting a Config
If you want to delete config or only individual commands, just delete the line with the given command, and then save the file. The command value will revert to its base value.
