Rome Total Realism: Platinum Edition REMASTERED

Description
This is a full port of the classic mod Rome Total Realism: Platinum Edition for the original Rome Total War. This port stays true to the original - it's essentially a bugfixed and stable version of the original mod. Full credits to the original team for the wonderful mod. Thanks to ahowl11 for including his fixes for the edb/etc. and for porting the map, which had a LOT of issues. Appreciate all your work. Love it as is, but I played a version of this back in the day in which each year was four turns. I wonder if there could be an add-on of some kind made to do that? Hope you're doing well!

Really want to play this mod as I played the original RTR back in 2005, but it crashes every single time I try to launch my first battle as Roma. Any ideas? I've deleted AppData, no other mods present.

Is there some kind of manual to this mod. Nothing explains how to build some of these new buildings. Looking at the building browser it says I need certain things to build something but I don't see them anywhere?

Please disregard my earlier question as to why the Greek Cities couldn't recruit missile troops at Athens and Sparta. I've since learned that the peltasts used by the Athenians were Thracian mercenaries.

I'm currently playing a Greek Cities game and have noticed the following:
a) Biremes have 50 men and Quinqueremes 20, shouldn't that be the other way around?, &
b) Didn't the Greeks use light infantry and missile troops, like peltasts and thureophori, to protect the flanks of the phalanx?
So, I was wondering why these troops can't be recruited at Athens or Sparta?
To have missile troops in the game, you have to recruit mercenaries, who, if they suffer casualties in battle, can't be retrained.
