This document is for the Killing Floor - Ballistic Weapons v2.5 Mod.
The mod in its current format is too large (1.3Gb) and unfinished (Currently in active development) so we are currently uploading this to our discord.

// Mod Description

Ballistic Weapons adds a batch of new, realistic, high quality weapons using an enhanced weapons system with reloading, aiming, firemodes, improved damage behaviour and much more to give the game a more tactical style. All the items have also been replaced and the mod uses totally original sounds and effects.The entire mod is implemented through a mutator so it is compatible with all gametypes and many different mods. The mod has also been designed to be very mod friendly so as to serve as abase for other mods allowing most features and systems to be implemented using just thedefault properties of new weapons. A manual is included with the mod as well. v2.5 will update the roster of weapons to 47 in total.

At this current stage, we have some plans of fully updating the mod to the current similar status of the Unreal Tournament 2004 version of Ballistic Weapons, which is currently at v2.6 itself. This would include changes to balance to fit the Killing Floor invasion style, the addition ofthe bonus pack weapons and even the potential of camo weapons, implemented differently to the way the camos are introduced through the Killing Floor DLC. V2.6 plans to host over 163 weapons in total with later plans of v2.7 hosting over 170 weapons in total with camo support for each. We also plan to overhaul the current files to make the files in the system name friendly and cleaner to understand the origin and credits.

To install this mutator please put the files in the
correct folders:

.u / .ucl files go in your KillingFloor\System Folder
.ukx files go in your KillingFloor\Animations Folder
.uax files go in your KillingFloor\Sounds Folder
.usx files go in your KillingFloor\StaticMeshes Folder
.utx files go in your KillingFloor\Textures Folder

Also includes are a number of source files, allowing anyone to adjust the mod (With modding experience) to their interest. Most likely with the newer version of v2.5, these files will be made redundant due to the overhauled installed files. But this is for another day.
