How to Evolve your Weapons in Vampire Survivors?!

To Level up a Weapon, select it with the linked Item.
First try to level up your Weapon to the maximum Level,
then also try to collect the linked Item when it appears in the level-up window.
You will get the remaining levels by killing Elite Monsters
and opening the Chests it leaves behind.
By the time your Weapon and Item are leveled up to the maximum,
you should be able to evolve your Weapon.

This happens automatically when you pick up the last Level for your Weapon or Item,
means no matter if Weapon or Item is needed, but NOTE that both have to be at maximum.

How to unlock secret Character ~~ "Peppino"

"Be a good boy in Il Molise."

On Il Molise, use Celestial Dusting to attack the plants, healing them instead.
Upon restoring 100,000 health points to the plants,
it plays a jingle that signals you have unlocked the character.

Using O'Sole will make this trivial, as it does not take damage from the plants.

After unlocking, Peppino can be purchased for Gold 666, which scales with other characters purchased.

How to unlock secret Character ~~ "Gains Boros"

"Find the only one place where flowers bloom in The Bone Zone."

Due North of spawn in The Bone Zone (beyond Silver Ring), there is a ring of flowers which heals the character by 8 every 0.5 seconds. By staying in the ring for 10 seconds, a jingle is played and the ring disappears. The healing from the ring will continue.

After unlocking, Gains will be able to be purchased for Gold 666, which scales with other characters purchased.

"Uppercut a non-red reaper."

The player can unlock this character by defeating the Stalker, Drowner, or Trickster after Exdash is unlocked by cheat code. You will see Toastie on the bottom right for half a second.

Press the down arrow key (↓) + Enter key when they are on the screen.
The S key (down for WASD players) does not count. When successful, a jingle will be played.

The player can unlock this character after Exdash and Toastie are unlocked. Type "spam" in the main menu - this will start a hidden 30-second timer. Go to the character selection and enter "spam", go to the stage selection and enter "spam", and enter a run and enter "humbug". When you leave the run, Smith IV will be playable.

The player can unlock this character by starting the Map "Mad Forest", you will be able to see a question mark in the upper-right corner of the map. The usual enemies guard this coffin. You will need to defeat them in order to be able to open the coffin. After opening it, will not yield any spectacular animation this time.

After unlocking Random, you can take it for a spin and see it in action. It starts with a random weapon and will usually have a completely random name (one of them alludes to Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat).

• Minnah Mannarah – defeat the werewolves in Dairy Plant. To make the werewolves appear, pick Arcana VIII – Mad Groove as you start your run and collect the cheese that appears. Note that if a werewolf despawns instead of dying, you won’t unlock the new character
  
• Peppino – use Celestial Dusting to heal plants at Il Molise for a total of 100,000 health points
  
• Gains Boros – find the green circle with flowers in the Bone Zone by heading due north. Walk past the silver ring and keep walking until you find it. Stand inside this area until you hear the unlock sound.
  
• Gyorunton – survive 15 minutes in Boss Rash with only one weapon enabled. (Eggs are allowed)
  
• Big Trouser – fully upgrade all 16 passive items in Moongolow
  
• Cosmo Pavone – start a run in Capella Magna with no eggs. Take the Peachone and Ebony Wings weapons and Arcana I (Gemini). Walk to the Crown and Tiragisu items. You should see a nduja fritta nearby on a balcony. Pick it up, and a gate will open. Grab the bird sitting on the balcony to unlock this character.

Easy way ro get it

Charakter:	Leda OR Gennaro
Stage:	The Bone Zone
How to get::	Heading South and look for te "?" on the Map, move from side to side. You’ll find a giant, rolling ball of bones. Defeat it and it will drop the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane.

Once you’ve unlocked the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, you’ll be able to enter the Secrets menu. On the right side of the menu, you’ll see a place to “cast spell.” This is just Vampire Survivors’ language for typing in a cheat code.

We’ve listed all the cheat codes as of version 0.10 below. Select the box to the right and type the codes in exactly as they appear in our code list.

"Gracia's Mirror" & "Seventh Trumpet"

Gracia's Mirror

Gracia's Mirror is a Relic found in Eudaimonia Machine. Once collected, it permanently unlocks Inverse Mode in the stage selection menu, which makes the stage into a harder version.

How to get it:

Upon entering Eudaimonia Machine for the first time, approach the Directer. It will ask you a question. Pick either answer and it will give you the Relic.

Seventh Trumpet

Seventh Trumpet is a Relic found in Eudaimonia Machine. Once collected, it permanently unlocks Endless Mode in the stage selection menu, which prevents Death from arriving and allows the stage to continue on endlessly.

How to get it:

Enter Eudaimonia Machine for the second time, after playing a stage on Inverse Mode once. Approach the Directer and it will give you the Relic.

Once you've unlocked the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, you'll be able to enter the Secrets menu. On the right side of the menu, you'll see a place to “cast spell.” This is just Vampire Survivors' language for typing in a cheat code.

How to Unlock "Avatar Infernas"

After clearing Eudaimonia Machine by defeating the The Directer and obtaining Greatest Jubilee, enter Inlaid Library with inverse mode toggled on. Travel very far right past the Gold Ring, until you see The Trickster in front of a piano. Kill The Trickster and interact with the piano. If you have Peachone and Ebony Wings (Vandalier and Cosmo Pavone's birds do not count), the birds will show you which keys to press.

The keys you'll need to press are D, A, A#, G, and C# (2nd white key, 6th white key, 5th black key, 5th white key, and 1st black key).

You will find yourself in a dark area with large amount of Undead Heads and Undead Eyes and nine coffins. Travel around the area and find Avatar in one of the coffins (his coffin location is randomized). After opening the coffin containing him, all other enemies will disappear and he will start attacking you. Defeat him to unlock him in the roster. Once Avatar is defeated, the White Hand will appear and end your run.

EXTRAS: Bat Country

Bat Country is the fifth challenge stage in Vampire Survivors.
This stage can be unlocked by reaching Level 80 in "Inverse" Mad Forest.

EXTRAS: Apoplexy

Apoplexy is a relic located in Bat Country.
Once collected, it permanently unlocks the Charm powerup.

Obtaining

At minute 9:00 in Bat Country, Apoplexy will appear somewhere near the player at the center of a large square of Diamonds. Its location is tracked by a green arrow on the player's screen. Once Apoplexy has been collected, it will not appear again.

Alternatively, the Apoplexy can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "tengillesbalm".

EXTRAS: Chaos Malachite

Chaos Malachite is a relic located in Bat Country.
Once collected, it permanently allows Mortaccio to morph into a Goshadokuro upon reaching level 80.

Obtaining

At minute 18:00 in Bat Country, Chaos Malachite will appear somewhere near the player at the center of a large square of Diamonds. Its location is tracked by a green arrow on the player's screen.
Once Chaos Malachite has been collected, it will not appear again.

Alternatively, the Chaos Malachite can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "gottagofast".

Co-Op

Couch Co-Op

The couch co-op mode will be released on August 17 with a free update that will let you play the whole game, including all updates and DLCs, with friends (or foes). In couch co-op mode, you can either continue your current game or start a new adventure. It will also be possible to seamlessly switch between single and co-op play between stages, unlock achievements, etc. In short: you will be able to play the whole game in local co-op!
And yes, this will also work on Steam Deck if you sit together close enough (or connect it to a TV).

We hope you will enjoy the co-op mode as much as we did when playtesting and making it. It already tested multiple friendships in the poncle team – your friendships could be next. <3

Couch Co-Op mode FAQ

Why are you adding couch co-op to Vampire Survivors?
Because it’s fun (we hope!) and couch co-op is one of the most requested community features.

How much does the couch co-op update cost?
Nothing. The co-op update will be completely free.

When does the couch co-op update launch?
August 17, 2023.

How does the couch co-op update change the gameplay?
While we can’t go into too many details here, we can already say that the gameplay stays largely the same (more chaos aside), though adding more players changes a few gameplay systems of course. For example, you will share the “level up” bar with the experience points with your friends and level up in turns, all players will always be visible on the same screen (so no splitscreen) and there will also be a few ways to sabotage each other: just, you know, pick Gatti Amari.

Can multiple people play on one keyboard on PC?
Unfortunately we hit some technical limitations, so for now you will need one controller input device (keyboard, controller etc.) per player.

With how many people can I play Vampire Survivors once the couch co-op update hits?
Up to 4 players in total in local couch co-op. Be the bullet hell with your besties! Or on your own by using 4 controllers at once! (jk please don't do that to yourself 🙏)

Can I also play co-op online?
Not officially! When the co-op update lands, it will allow local couch co-op for up to 4 players but does not support online play.
That being said, there are online gaming solutions like Steam Remote Play Together that work with every game, so you will be able to play online with those workarounds of course.

Is there only a couch co-op mode or can I also play against my friends?
There's no versus mode, but we're sure some of you will find a way or two to test how good your friendships are in the co-op.

Will there be specific couch co-op multiplayer levels?
Nope! We designed the co-op mode in a way that you can play through all of Vampire Survivors with friends, but there won’t be co-op specific levels.

Will there be couch co-op focused achievements?
Also nope! We don’t want anyone to feel like they HAVE to play co-op to unlock and see everything in the game. You will be able to play the whole of Vampire Survivors with friends, foes or your favourite creatures of the night but it’s fully optional.

Can I also play the DLCs in couch co-op?
Of course! As long as you own a DLC you will be able to play it in local co-op.

Do I need to start from the beginning to play the couch co-op?
You can seamlessly switch between co-op and single player before every run. No need to start a new game, and all the unlocks you get during a co-op play session will carry over to your singleplayer save.

Can I select the same character as my friends? We all want to play as Poe!
Multiple Poes would tip the balance of the universe, so for now every character can only be selected by one player per run.

Will there be future single-player updates for the game?
Yes! We will continue to support the game with free updates and paid DLCs, but moving forward you will be able to play everything solo (as usual) or in co-op if you prefer.

Beta when?
If you're on the new-engine branch, you'll be able to test couch co-op some time before the official release, but we don't have a specific date for that yet.
