Description
Tired of the vanilla UI with it's unreadable text and horrible colors? Don't like how black the Dark UI mod is but you still like the layout of it? Well then this mod is for you. It uses the same layout as the Dark UI mod but adds a little color to it. The blue UI is the first in a series of new UI mods that I will be releasing shortly. I will also have transparent versions of them coming out soon. You can go ahead and check out the transparent blue one HERE. All of these mods have my colorblind text mod incorporated into them so that the game no longer uses red and green which color blind people cannot differentiate between. Instead, blue has replaced green and purple has replaced red everywhere that I'm able to change the colors.

Thank you to the original creator of the Dark UI mod, Eldryn. I would also like to thank Mopsisgone and Sophia for their input on this.

And for anyone interested in editing the colors themselves (I changed the purple text to a yellow color, #EEBD2B), you can copy the workshop folder named 2840428366 from {your steam apps folder path}\workshop\content\233860 to your Kenshi mods folder at {your steam apps folder path}\common\Kenshi\mods and rename the folder to "Iggys Blue UI", then go to mods\Iggys Blue UI\gui\colours and edit the kenshi_colours.xml file and look for "Bad" and "BadBright" and replace the hex values with your chosen color (keeping the quotes around each of the colors). The same colors are also used elsewhere, so you can find and replace the instances if you want as well. Other colors, like the replacement for green, etc. are in here too.

For some context to my earlier comment, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines designed to make web content readable and accessible to everyone, published by the W3C:

AA rating conformance recommends that regular text have a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5. The purple you chose along with your blue background have a contrast ratio between 1.75:1 to 2:1, making it extremely difficult to read for the average person, and especially so for the visually impaired.

Might I suggest using an orange or yellow color instead? These are widely used for colorblindness accessibility and work really well on the blue background.

I love most of the colors, but the fluorescent purple color that replaces the red is really hard on the eyes and very difficult to read. Also, it's extremely difficult to see the lockpicking progress bar (among others).
