Description
3 Male 3 Female, with background story.
This is my first mod ever, and if you people enjoy it, I could make another one adding even more mages / stories.

I have made a second Great mage pack, located here

no. I don't really know anything about modding, thou i would have liked to have a custom race for a couple of my mages in this and my other mage pack. all i did was add mages, gave em custom pictures and background, and changed their behavior numbers so they don't act like the normal mages. Lucky for me the editor is pretty easy to use

Thanks--would like that color variety to match all the different mages. Do you personally use any custom mod races with your great mage add-ons?

I don't know of any mod, but i'd imagine it's possible. If players can mod custom races, a custom flag/color should totally be possible.

Yeah, this was the first mod I looked at when I opened the workshop, I didnt realize at the time how much of a burden these mods place on the game... uploading each mage individually would be a pretty big pain, not to mention it would really bog things down. It was a bit of a Derpy request, and I probably should have come back and deleted that comment after I got a look around, but I guess I'd forgotten about it.

FYI: what I meant by Miralbus the Hat being duplicated, is that mage #2 has the same race, perks, and spells as Miralbus does... not his description. Otherwise, you have a good spread of perks and such; alot of people uploading mages have a clear bias towards their favorite play styles, and I like that you tried to mix them up a bit.

I ran the game with my 2 mods and all my custom mages are fine, and all the original ones are fine. i don't see any Miribus The Hat descriptions with any of my mages, or any other mage but himself, and his portrait is fine. so i'd have to say one of your mods has messed with it. The 3 others i had test my mods for me say they have no issue as well. As for making a mod per mage, thats alot of extra work i don't wish to do, and if someone did want to use them all, they'd be using over 12 mods just on my mages alone. As for the Anime one, I added that one for personal reasons, and won't be adding any more anime type like that.

The second mage is just Mirilbus The Hat, with a different portrait, is that a mistake? Also the anime portrait feels very out of place... I do like the third and final mages alot, though. Personally, I would prefer if you'd upload each of the mages as a different Mod, so we could install only those we wanted.

I normally use nine mods, including this one. They all seemed to be compatible. When I added AdeptMod 1.3 and started a new single person game I always got a "application aborted" popup whenever I pressed the new button. The problem was 100% repeatable. The popup stated:

array < 40, 40, itemsize=11287:overflow 41 of 40

I experimented with disabling various mods to verify that using both New Great Mages and AdeptMod seems be what causes the problem. I don't know if the array is refering to a limit on the number of Great Mages you can have defined. The third mod adding great mages was W1 offical great mages w/sound . I added a similar comment to the AdeptMod page.
