Toyota Isis

アイシス (Isis) は、かつてトヨタ自動車が製造・販売していたミニバンである。静岡県裾野市のトヨタ自動車東日本（旧・関東自動車工業）東富士工場で生産されていた。

日本国内専用車として企画・開発され、左側通行専用設計の左右アシンメトリー（非対称）ボディを採用していた。ウィッシュの兄弟車だった。

一般にはガイアの後継車と紹介されることが多いが、トヨタでは「ガイアの後継車ではなく、全く新規に開発したミニバン」と否定している。ラウムで培われたアイデアを随所に取り入れている。

ボディサイズは5ナンバーサイズではあるが、「プラタナ」にはエアロパーツとブリスターフェンダーが装着されており、わずかに全幅が拡大され1,710mmとなるため、3ナンバーとなる。

由来は、エジプトの豊穣の神イシスより。「乗る人すべての心を豊かにするクルマ」という意味が込められている。決して当時米国と対立していた某組織とは一切関係がないのでご注意を。

The Isis is a minivan that was once manufactured and sold by Toyota Motor Corporation. It was produced at Toyota Motor East Japan (formerly Kanto Auto Works) Higashifuji Plant in Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

It was planned and developed as a car exclusively for Japan, and adopted a left-right asymmetric body designed exclusively for left-hand traffic. It was Wish's brother car.

Generally, it is often referred to as the successor to Gaia, but Toyota denies that it is "not a successor to Gaia, but a completely newly developed minivan." The ideas cultivated in Raum are incorporated everywhere.

Although the body size is 5 number size, the "Platana" is equipped with aero parts and blister fenders, and the overall width is slightly expanded to 1,710 mm, so it will be 3 number.

The origin is from Isis, the god of fertility in Egypt. It has the meaning of "a car that enriches the hearts of all passengers."
Please note that it has nothing to do with a certain organization that was in conflict with the United States at that time.
