How Can You Deal With That? - I'm about to tell you now.

The Summoning circle aka Pentagram is one of six cursed items in Phasmophobia.

It is used to summon a ghost to follow the peculiarities of its behavior during hunting, to take a picture of it if you need one, or in case if you just wanna feel and enjoy the ominous atmospheric darkness of place where it's been found.

To summon a ghost, you need to light all 5 candles on the pentagram with a lighter, which you probably took with you to the contract in order to light a candle or smudge sticks for the ghost.

But hold on for a minute, be very-very careful now, because...

Each lit candle takes away ~16% of your sanity. your friends also fall under the effect if you play with them and if they're standing somewhere near you.

As soon as all the red candles are lit, the ghost will materialize but will be motionless for 5 seconds — during this time, you have to do everything you needed and after that as soon as possible escape as far as you can from the place of appearance of the ghost.

The hunt has begun!

Hide and Seek!

Since lighting each candle deprives you of a certain percentage of sanity, you become vulnerable and putting yourself in a serious danger (a sedative will help alleviate the situation a little bit but the point of no return has already been passed!)

Hide-and-seek time! do everything to be saved. Meanwhile, the ghost will do everything to find you.

Danger and Risk.

If, during your machinations with the pentagram, a hunt suddenly begins, or your sanity drops to zero - the chances of survival are almost at 0%. The ghost will instantly be able to move freely around the location, and, believe me, it will definitely find you!

Be very careful and do not play with evil toys (except situations when you really want to, of course).

Therefore, if you know what you are doing, your risk will be justified and the victory will be yours!

Any Advices? - sure.

Use smudge sticks to help yourself while the ghost is hunting for you.
Crucifix WON'T help during cursed hunts.

In general the crucifix doesn't do anything once the hunt is started, and it can stop further hunts from happening as long as the ghost spawns within 3m (5m for demon) but anytime you cause a cursed hunt from like, breaking the mirror, hitting the heart pin, lighting the summoning circle, etc. that takes priority over any crucifix

Crucifixes don't have any effect for a cursed hunt, you can only smudge the ghost after it leaves the circle.
