ZiU-682 (also ZiU-9) is a Soviet and Russian high-floor large-capacity trolleybus for intracity passenger traffic. This trolleybus model was in mass production from 1972 to 2015, having gone through several upgrades. The large production volume (42 thousand) of ZiU-9/682, starting from the late 1970s, allowed it to become the most massive trolleybus model both in the Soviet Union (later in Russia) and in the world, where it was operated in more than two dozen countries.
