The problem is the normal map. The weapon has a specular type, and with that map the blue layer is almost black instead of white, which makes the weapon look like this. Just change the normal maps to the usual ones and it will look like this:

You could just remove everything and leave just the $basetexture to see if it is
Otherwise I think it could be bad normal - Try opening the model in Blender and use Weighted Normal Modifier on it
