Achievment: "Turtle-tastic" The Happy Turtle Flyer Locations (Yuffie DLC)

After Yuffie meets Avalanche and talks with Nayo twice, she'll mention "The Happy Turtle" and that there is a fellow Wutai native living in Sector 7. After you leave you'll see a guy dressed as a turtle, dancing with a sign. When you talk to him he'll mention there are 6 flyers throughout the area and will give you a list of clues. You can find them in any order you want, I just ordered them as they are in the clue list. The flyers are small blue leaflets and not the full poster. You'll know you're in the right place because you'll hear a unique turtle jingle for each location.

Clue #1: "Some Kids hid one somewhere"

• Location: Playground - it's behind some boxes you can knock over and find the flyer.
  
• Flyer Text: "Want to kiss your troubles goodbye? Tired of being out to dry? Our sweet little haven is your getaway because every day with us is a holiday!"

Clue #2: "Floating through the air"

• Location: by Wedges house on a turtle balloon. Go behind some boxes and pop it and pick it up in front of some children.
  
• Also there is a chest for the Fort Condor game for "Riot Trooper Barracks" unit type by Wedge's house tucked away. (see the bottom picture, the chest is in the upper right corner)
  
• Flyer Text: "Is the ground floor life getting you down? Chin up now-there's no need to frown! The Happy Turtle is here-and just in time. Bringing so much cheer, it should be a crime!"

Clue #3: "Near Old Snapper's friends apartment building"

• Location: Tifa's apartment. There is a dog you need to sneak past by hiding behind boxes. Careful, there is a bucket/broom right next to the flyer and will wake up the dog. After you get it there is some materia on the roof if you climb up the ladder.
  
• Flyer text: Do lonely nights turn into lonely days? Fill that void with booze, food and play! At the Happy Turtle you'll find only the best, For we live to entertain you, our honored guest!"

Clue #4: "A cat took one of Culvert Street"

• Location: alley where Cloud fought Corneo's thugs and the wererats in Sector 7. Look for an orange cat all the way in the back. It will hiss at you [like cat's do] and will run away. The other cats have similar flyers but these are fakes. It will always be the orange cat in the back.
  
• Flyer text "Potential customer, is love what you seek? then the Happy Turtle can give you a peek! Romance so often blossoms within our walls, You'll want to stick around until last call]

Clue #5: "On the town bulletin board"

• Location: the bulletin board between the train station and the factory entrance.
  
• Flyer Text: "A turtle with liquor, now ain't that a sight. Why, it makes one brim with utter delight. Two twin red cheeks, enchanting you wholly. Drop by the Happy Turtle to drink it in slowly."

Clue #6: "Near the old Talagger factory"

• Location: in the factory, where you fought the boss monster in the main game. it's behind some boxes. There are two orbs of materia in this factory. One where the vending machine/bench and where you find the flyer.
  
• Also there is the Monodrive unit you can pick up for the Fort Condor mini game. Look in the center warehouse for a Stamp drawing and the chest is behind the breakable boxes.
  
• Flyer text: "Wutai's culinary enigmas are here to be shared. Secret spices, mystic mixtures-but please don't be scared! One quick visit is all you need, To realize our food's great indeed!"

Reward Time

Return to "old Snapper" where you first met him and he'll do a song and dance that someone had finally won the prize. You will recieve the achievment Turtle-tastic as well as Magnify Materia as a reward and he invites you to his bar when Yuffie is older since she's only 16 and underage to be at a bar. You'd think being a fellow Wutai he'd cut her some slack but whatever.

Misc Info

For a small side quest there is a lot that went into it. Creating 7 separate songs with varying genres isn't a small job so they went all out in in that respect. (This is the 7th track)

This is also a reference to a the "Turtle Paradise" unmarked quest in the original Playstation 1 release of the game. 6 flyers were scattered across 3 disks and the entire world and they were all numbered 1 thru 6 and you had to find them in order. if you skipped any or if they were out of order, the quest was over and you cannot fix it unless you load a prior save. If you discovered all 6 in the correct order and then went to the actual Turtle Paradise bar in Wutai (on disk 3) you got a bunch of stat boost items.


Also I want to say that Old Snapper is an homage to Dana Carvey's turtle character from the movie "Master of Disguise" but it could also just be a coincidence.
