Craft Prisoner Shackles

Description
inspired by nanogiraffe's Craftable Shackles mod but doesnt require a separate crafting bench.

this mod adds regular and hive shackles to the chain armour crafting bench. the research requires imprisonment and 4 books.

this is my first mod and i hope it actually works as intended haha

Oh no worries, I've not really found a mod that adds shackles the way I'd like. This is the closest but I think its mostly engine limitations that make it odd, you can mostly work around it though so otherwise its entirely functional.

@Electrochemical Alchemist lol yeah it has a lot of issues as you've noted. Thanks for putting all that there. i initially just made this mod for myself cuz i wanted to rp some of my squad members as slaves but anyway yeah uploaded this mess into the workshop for the heck of it.

Wanted to offer a few notes in case others want to use this mod, or the author wants to update it:
-The shackles come locked, and whoever crafts them adds them to their inventory. I imagine if they can equip them they will, resulting in immediate enslavement. My crafter had chest armor though so they were instead stuck in the inventory, unable to move. You can easily remove them and keep them locked by throwing them on the ground, but I can't imagine how shackling non squadmembers would go.
-Whoever is shackled will be marked as an escaped slave. This also seemingly isn't an issue in my game as I'm allied to the holy nation and they don't seem to mind, but I imagine this would cause a few issues if you intend to use them. I am wondering if other mods for player slavery would fix this issue, anyone else testing would be appreciated.
