Dynamic Trade Routes

Trade Maps DTR is a collection of Map Modes of Coins, Buildings, Resources, or Artifacts for the mod Dynamic Trade Routes (DTR).

New custom maps have been added to those from War Maps, offering a visual of everything that happens in the world when playing with DTR.

I use it after letting the game run in Observer mode, but feel free to use it in your games to see what is happening around you.

For discussions, join the DTR Discord Server[].

  • Blue: Open Mint
    • Dark Blue: Open Mint with Granted Minting Rights.
  • Orange: Disabled Mint.
    • Dark Orange: Disabled Mint with Granted Minting Rights.
  • Pink: Revoked Mint.
    • Dark Pink: Revoked Mint with Granted Minting Rights.

Holding Interactions
Other holding interactions - Royal Stud (Blue), Caravan/Fair (Orange), Slave Market (Pink), Royal Shipyard (Red) - are shown in distinct colors depending on whether they are active (lighter colors) or disabled/revoked (darker colors).

Trade Maps
Trade maps show the available resources, represented in a color palette that follows a general pattern:
  • From very low negative numbers in Dark Pink -> Pink -> White when approaching 0.
  • From 0 in White -> Yellow -> Orange -> Dark Orange/Orange Red - when approaching the maximum (or an extremely high value).
  • Cyan: productive barony.

Other colors in resource maps might be used to represent modifiers or buildings, and include Green or Blue (good), White or Gray (neutral), or Red or Black (negative).

Why does this mod making loading into the game take nearly 30 minutes?

think this mod might be causing the game to eternally sit in "initialising game" during startup. reinstalled the game and loaded it and the problem persisted, as soon as i removed this mod the game loads fine. not sure what the problems are. just that it is likley that this mod is causing it sadly

No, only with DTR, DTR Lite and this one, starting forever:

Thanks, that totally works as well. Was just confused about where how much timber and other resources are given that there are like 20 new maps with different colors :)

@Fabel: Adding legends to the maps in-game seems a bit too much, because they cover the area above the map icons and the available examples are not particularly pretty IMHO.

I've added some more info in the description, and you can also check the explanation for other maps in War Maps.

Any chance to add a legend to the maps? Every map uses different colors and different intensities, half the time I have no idea what it means. :)

Might just be me though.

Yeah I can't see them, too many other map modes.
