Description
Hotfix: A few tweaks to operation, also added in compatability to a WIP End of Train Device [EOTD]

The latest and greatest iteration of ESS. Now with advanced headlight controls!
Backwards compatible all the way to 1.0! (Excluding newer features)


Installation (addressing nodes left to right, top row to bottom)(do not worry about pre-installed nodes):

Row-1
Front Headlights (IN)- The switch that turns on the short hood headlights
Rear Headlights (IN)- The switch that turns on the long hood headlights
Front Headlights (OUT)- The output that goes to the short hood headlights
Rear Headlights (OUT)- The output that goes to the long hood headlights
Front Connected (In)- Goes to the "Connected" output of the front connector
Rear Connected (In)- Goes to the "Connected" output of the rear connector

Row-2
Radio in (IN)- Goes to the output of the antenna (pre-installed in setup)
Rolling Stock Brakes Cutout (IN)- Goes to the cutout switch (pre-installed in setup)
Dynamic Braking in (IN)- Goes to the Dynamic Brakes lever, ignore this if your unit does not possess dynamic brakes.
Dynamic Braking out (OUT)- Goes to your Dynamic braking system, ignore if you dont have one.
Rolling Stock Brakes (IN)- goes to your automatic brake lever, or rolling stock brakes lever.

Row-3
Control Panel (IN)- goes to pre-installed headlight selector.
Controls Out (out)- Connect to the inputs of your front connectors, rear connectors, and antenna
Prime Mover throttle out (OUT)- Goes to your generator
Braking Throttle in (IN)- Goes to your Independent Brakes Lever (Locomotive Brake)
Prime Mover throttle in (IN)- Goes to your throttle lever
Controls in Rear (IN)- Goes to the Output of your rear connector

Row-4
Engine Run (IN)- goes to the pre-installed engine run breaker
Controls in front (IN)- Goes to the output of your front connector
Electric motors out (OUT) Goes to your electric motors
Braking Throttle Out (OUT)- Goes to your Locomotive Brakes
Electric Motor Throttle In (IN)- Goes to your reverser apparatus
To Indicators (OUT)- Goes to the pre-installed headlight mode indicators

After that, just power all the controls and you should be golden.


Operation:

Master:
Flip The Engine Run Breaker on, then it is immediately set to lead locomotive. If you are also controlling a Distributed Power Unit, (DPU), then make sure to set a frequency on the keypad for it to receive.


Slave: Keep Engine Run toggled off. Adjust the Headlight Selector to match the Locomotive's Orientation in the train. If slave is a DPU, press receive from radio and set it on the same frequency as the lead unit.

Consist Definition: The Front End Power of a train, consisting of all locomotives grouped together

Cheat Sheet:
Short Hood Forward- front facing same direction as lead unit
Long Hood Forward-front facing away from lead unit

Single/Intermediate Unit: when engine run is on, will default to this. Either lead locomotive or DPU.
Middle Unit: In the middle of the consist, carries headlight signal over to tail unit
Tail Unit: The last locomotive in the consist, will have headlight serve as the rear headlight
