Daily Rewards
General Information
Daily rewards can be claimed every 23.5 hours, and rewards can be claimed from the mobile app if you use the same login (you can literally claim your reward on mobile while playing on desktop). The first 31 days are the same for everyone, and beyond that the drops are random each day. Setting an alarm to claim the reward can be helpful, or if you do it at basically the same time every day.

The First 31 Days
This reward set is the same for everyone. You can earn silver, gold, dust, EXP, EXP boosts, and exclusive cosmetics (the ? reward gives you one of these items besides cosmetics at random). Your progress will not expire or reset for any reason.

Day 32 and Beyond
What type of reward you get is completely random. Most reward quantities are a random number within a range. Possible rewards are detailed in the chart below.
Exclusive Cosmetics
These cosmetics can only be earned from Daily Rewards.
Question Mark Fart
Bucket Hat and Neon Gaggle Tee
Neon Card and Neon Banner
EXP and Levels
EXP
EXP works in GGD much like it does in any other game with a levels system.

  • You earn EXP for each match you complete that is not too short.
  • You can earn EXP from Daily Rewards.

EXP Bonuses
  • You get a 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, or 25% bonus for winning the game
  • You get a 5% bonus for completing at least 8 tasks as a goose
  • The EXP bonus daily reward gives you 50% bonus EXP for games completed within 4 hours of claiming the reward.

Levels
Each level takes progressively more EXP to earn. Levels show generally how long you or anyone else has been playing. You can check a player's level from the pause menu (gear icon > players). Many lobbies require players to be at least level 25. If you started playing before the 2.0 update, your level is calculated based on your playtime and other stats, and then you start leveling from there.

Level Rewards
At certain levels, you unlock cards and banners that you can use in-game. You can check these out at any time from the collection. The Gaggle team has already released all of the level-related cards and banners that they plan to release for the lifetime of the game, which is why they have rewards nearly up to level 1,000.
Friends Tab
The friends tab allows you to do a variety of things. You can:
  • Add other players as your friends.
  • Message friends privately between games.
  • Invite friends to your game or get invited to games your friends are in.
  • Join or request to join games your friends are currently in.
  • See which friends are online, or how long currently offline friends have been offline for.
  • See if your online friends are in the menu, in a lobby, or in a game.

Adding Friends
You can add other players several different ways.
1) Add by current lobby or recent players
Players in your current lobby or that you played with recently (current game session only) will show up under the "Recent" tab. You can click "add" from there.
2) Add by friend code
In the top right, there is a box that is hidden by default. Clicking on it will show your friend code. If you send this code to someone through another platform, such as text or Discord, they can add you by clicking "+Add by Tag" at the bottom.
3) Accepting a received invite.
Any invites you have received will show up in the "Requests" tab at the bottom. You can accept or deny any received friend invitations from here.
Joining Games
You can join a game one of your friends is in if they are on Allow Join, or you can request to join if they are on Request Join. You won't be able to join during role selection if they are playing Draft, or if the lobby is full. If you join while a game is in progress, you will join as a spectator.
Inviting Players to Games
You can invite a friend to the game you're in if they are online, not in a game, and set to either Allow Join or Request Join status. It doesn't matter if they are in another lobby, as long as that lobby is not in a game. If they are in a game, you can always try sending them your lobby code in a message.
Friend Statuses
There are three different statuses you can select for yourself, and you can change your setting between games (NOTE: your effective status may be overridden by host status protection, but your setting will be saved). You can see what status each of your online friends is set to from the friends tab. Status is ignored while offline (mainly affects do not disturb). Players can always join the lobby with the lobby code regardless of host or individual player status.
Green Circle: Allow Join
  • Your friends can invite you to lobbies.
  • Your friends can message you freely.
  • Your friends can join the lobby you are in freely.
Yellow Triangle: Request Join
  • Your friends can invite you to lobbies.
  • Your friends can message you freely.
  • Your friends can request to join the lobby you are in.
Red Circle with Line: Do Not Disturb
  • Your friends cannot invite you to lobbies.
  • Your friends cannot message you, while you're online.
  • Your friends cannot join the lobby you're in, unless they have the lobby code or are invited.
Messaging
You can send friends messages as long as they are not in Do Not Disturb mode. They will receive a sound alert if they are not in a game, and they will be able to see a notification (red circle by the chat bubble) regardless. You may have to scroll down to find an unread message if the friend who sent it is currently offline.
Host Status Protection
Whenever you join a lobby, your current status will be set to the host's status or your own, whichever is stricter. For example, if the host has selected Request Join, all players in the lobby will either have a status of Request Join, or Do Not Disturb (DND as per their own setting). No one in the lobby can be in the Allow Join status while the host is in Request Join status. Your personal setting is always saved, but your current status may change, as dictated by the host. This setting was created to address the issue of friends of friends joining a lobby meant to have strict entrance requirements.
