IAI Nesher

Here is my representation of the IAI Nesher!

The Nesher (Griffon Vulture) is the IDF's version of the Dassault Mirage 5. After the 6-Day War in 1967, the IDF was left looking for a better multirole fighter than the Mirage III. The French had just recently built the Mirage 5, but they had an arms embargo on Israel. So the IDF decided to take the Mirage 5, but manufacture them domestically and call it the Nesher. The airframe is identical to the Mirage 5, but the avionics are Israel-made. Her maiden flight was in 1969, and met combat in 1973 during the Yom Kippur War. The Nesher was later used to help design the Kfir, and was retired in the late 70s from the IDF.

In Stormworks, it is pretty easy to operate and startup, but still make sure you follow the instructions closely:

1. Set throttle to before the idle detent (zero or less)
2. Verify power (connect GROUND POWER, or use the BATTERY SWITCH at the tail)
3. Engine master switch to RUN
4. Engine crank switch to START
5. Wait for 0.6% N1
6. Throttle up to >0%
7. Engine crank switch to OFF
8. Stay under 30% throttle to retract the gear
