Releasing Vassals as Hive Mind (Benevolent Hive Overlords)

Description
In Stellaris 3.3, Hive Minds could release vassals if they had non-hive pops in their empire. Being one of the few ethical ways a hive mind could use non-hive pops, it was fun to use as part of the roleplay for a more benevolent Hive Mind.

With the release of Overlord, this feature was scrapped in favor of allowing Progenitor Hive to release vassals. Dissapointed, I made a mod to fix this, while still allowing Progenitor Hive to function as intended.

Features:
Hive Minds can now release vassals, so long as the pops which they release are non-hive pops.
These released vassals will be Fanatic Egalitarian Xenophiles, with the civics Shared Burdens and Idealistic Foundation. Your new vassal is glad to be free and strives to build a free empire based on your successful hive.

P.s. This mod is necessary even if you don't have the Overlord DLC if you want to release vassals as a Hive Mind.

XP leader levels and trait picks.. *sigh* Removing features in favor of locking them behind stuff is.. anti-player long-term. Regardless, I didn't know about this, so glad to see this. I had wondered.

Does this mod still work? And would it be compatible with Ethics and Civics Classic? I love the idea of this, and want to play as a benevolent hivemind, but I can't find any recent mods that have what I'm looking for.

Would it be possible to let devouring swarm progenitor hives release sectors as vassals?

Thank you for letting me know. You appear to be correct that the leader has the hive mind trait, and this is indeed a bug. I'll see if I can fix this and post an update.

However, the dialogue should be accurate. For Federation Builders the dialogue for loyalty is:
"Although our cooperation form is not ideal, we will strive for mutual understanding in our servitude."
For Hive Mind however, it is...
"The vast mental capacity of the [Empire Name] will know and pursue the goals of the [Your Name] before you know them yourselves."

in your screenshot the ruler of the vassal empire has the hiveminded trait, and the empire's dialogue is clearly hive-mind personality, is this intentional?
