By ppaz
I wanted to give some tips to players who are either starting new or just haven't learned some things properly in this guide.

This guide gives some simple tips to ensure you and your teammates have a game that doesn't frustrate the players on your team.

If you knew these tips before, thank you for being a competent player. you are great

I know there are a billion other guides about this, but after getting frustrated at public matches back to back, I had to do it bruh

Tips for squadleading
◘ Put your radios&habs from a reasonable distance from the capzones. This way, enemies do not proxy/disable it when they get close to the capzone.
‣ If you are playing RAAS gamemode, you can check where the next zones are going to be from Squad Lanes website.[squadlanes.com] It is fairly simple and easy to use.

◘ Make sure you mark where you want to place your radio at the staging phase.
‣ Let your commander and other squadleaders know where you are placing it.

◘ Sometimes your commander will place the hab marks for you to place on staging phase. If the habs make sense, go ahead and place them.
‣ Keep in mind that sometimes those hab placements will make no sense. In that case, let the
commander know that hab f***ing sucks and that you will place your own hab on your own mark.

◘ Divide your squad into fireteams. This way, you can assign them different tasks when the time comes. Example: "Bravo stay with me and help me build the hab, Charlie roam around and guard the area while we build."
‣ Make sure you have at least 1 medic in your squad, along with an Anti-Tank role accompanied by a Rifleman kit.

⦿ (my opinion) Scoped Machinegunner kits are superior over Marksman kits. I usually ask whoever took marksman on my squad to change to a different role, if they don't; i just kick them. I don't want no sniper on my squad.

◘ Try utilizing rally points. Rally points will be destroyed if any enemy unit comes in a 30 meter radius.
‣ Rally points could also be utilized as early warning systems, just place it in a choke point / flank if you think the enemies might come from that way later in the game.

◘ Always communicate. Communication and correct enemy marks on the map ramps up your probability to win on every occasion. Just use your mic man, noone likes a silent squadlead.

◘ Sometimes, your squad members will try to reason with you on what you are doing, and give better ideas about what to do. Listen to them, sometimes they give great advice. You might be the squad leader but you are not alone in your squad.
Tips for Infantry
◘ Listen to your squadlead. They usually give you great orders.
‣ In the case of your squadlead giving you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ orders, make sure to let him know his orders suck
then just change your squad until you find one that is fit for you.

‣ If you think you have better things that you can do other than your squadleader's orders, let him know maybe he will learn a thing or two

◘ Never take marksman kit on CQB maps. (or any other map. that kit sucks man just take machinegun and sit in a bush or smt)

◘ Always communicate with your squadmates.

◘ Do not give up INSTANTLY when you go down. You have around 30-40 seconds before you can be able to spawn on a FOB. Just wait on the ground for a while, maybe someone will pick you up.
Tips for Armor Crew
Armor assets are able to stack the odds in your favor easily when played correctly.

◘ Don't get too far away from your fellow Infantrymen if you are close to enemy territory.
‣ Having other armor crew or Inf around you comes into a great play if you get disabled whether it be you getting engined or tracked.

◘ Do not play agressively on an IFV if your enemeis have a Tank up. That tank will tear you apart in no more than 2 shots. Just play cautiously for it to be destroyed or disabled.

◘ ALWAYS make sure you have a repair station other than the one at your main base. Its good to be able to repair quickly at the battlefield then get back to fight in no time.

There are many guides out there about which vehicle can damage other vehicles. Just search for "Armor" on the steam guides and you will come across up to date guides teaching you where to shoot the enemy armor.
Thanks
I hope I was able to teach a couple of basic tips to be applied on public matches. Thanks for reading this guide and have fun out there.
