Introduction
Hello guys this is how to do all achievements in the portal 2 single-player campaign. Sorry no videos. Its too hard to find 29 videos.
Wake Up Call
Achievement type: Story Related
This achievement is earned by surviving the ride where Wheatley brings you to the old testing track.
After the ride ends, you will simply earn this achievement.
You Monster
Achievement type: Story Related
After getting to the top from the breaker room wait until GLaDOS says "You Monster". After that, you simply earn this achievement.
Undiscouraged
Achievement type: Story Related
This is achieved by finishing test chamber 01. To finish test chamber 01 get in the lift and do the same thing as you do in test chamber 06 from portal 1. After finished, you simply earn the achievement.
Bridge Over Troubling Water
Achievement type: Story Related
This achievement is simply earned after finishing test chamber 11. Everyone keeps saying it's 12 but it's 11. I also got it in 11 so I changed a disaster hopefully. To finish this test go to the side that has the pedestal button. Press the button and head to the start side. After that, you should shoot a portal facing the hole leading to the cube dropper (must-have bridge in it). After that, you need to enter the portal, cross the hole, and shoot a portal that receives the bridge on the left. After shooting the portal cross again and shoot it to the right. After that, we must grab the cube and enter the portal. Once done, shoot a portal facing the button place (must-have bridge in it). Finally, grab the cube, cross the bridge, and put it in the button. To finish the test do the same thing as the first step, but enter the exit door rather than pressing the button. After all of that, you simply earn this achievement.
SaBOTour
Achievement type: Story Related
This achievement is earned once you escape test chamber 21. To start teleport near the pedestal button (must-have bridge in it). Press the button and cross until lights out. And go near Wheatley and exit the chamber by crossing the bridge. After that, you simply earn this achievement.
Stalemate Associate
Achievement type: Story Related
You earn this achievement by pressing the button. Press the button by teleporting on the buttons range, once GLaDOS blocks the button with panels shoot a portal on the other side and enter the portal. Lastly, go press the button. After pressing you will earn this achievement.
Vertically Unchallenged
Achievement type: Story Related
This is extremely long. I will separate them side by side.
Test Chamber 01:
First, we have to jump to the other side. Second, teleport to the button placement. Third, jump to the gel and get to the button side. Fourth, press the button and grab the cube. Fifth, do the same thing as steps 1-3, but in step 2 you also put the cube on the button, and in step 3 you exit the chamber instead of pressing the button.
Test Chamber 02:
First, shoot a portal on the top of any surface on the moving ramp thing to get the cube. Second, jump to the gel and wait for the ramp to get to you. Third, once got to you fall by using a portal and grab the cube. Fourth, do the same thing as step 2, but this time teleport to the button's location and place the cube on the button. Fifth, shoot a portal on the flip panel, enter the portal, and jump through the other side by using the gel. Sixth, do the bouncy ninja thing and grab the cube. Seventh, do the same thing as step six but put the cube on the button. Eighth, Do the same thing as step five, but on the topper panel.
Test Chamber 03:
First, press the button. Second, spread the gel near the second tallest ramp. Third, do the same as step 2, but near the third tallest ramp this time. Fourth, spread the gel near the tallest ramp and jump down from the third tallest ramp and into the tallest ramp. Fifth, spread the gel near the place that has a fizzler. Sixth, enter, shoot a portal on the ramp, and shoot another portal in the blue gel tank. Seventh, fling.
Test Chamber 04:
First, shoot a portal on the bomb gel dropper. Second, spread it near the button. Third, Jump and press the button. Fourth, Shoot a portal on the ramp that points to the cleansing gel dropper and quickly jump as it's time-limited.
Test Chamber 05:
First, shoot a portal on the dripping gel. Second, shoot another portal on the ramp and wait for it to be big enough. Third, teleport to any of the tallest things that are reachable by portals and fling.
Test Chamber 06:
Note: It has an achievement called "Schrodinger's Catch"
First, shoot a portal on the blue gel tank. Second, spread the gel on the cube. Third, grab the repulsion infected cube and clean it in the cleansing gel tank. Fourth, put the cube on the button and infect the gel near the lift. Fifth Jump to the lift and infect the gel back on the cube.
Tater Toe
Achievement type: Story Related
Note: This achievement also has a connection two the "Ship Overboard and Door Prize" achievement and can be skipped by using a high fling to reach the top lift.
This achievement is earned by getting the final phase of the portal gun "GLaDOS portal gun". To earn this achievement, teleport to the top, shoot a portal on the ramp nearest to you, and fling. Finish the conversation, grab her, and you will earn this achievement.
Stranger Than Friction
Achievement type: Story Related
Similar to repulsion gel but only 3 tests I think.
Test Chamber 01:
Note: after finishing the test there's a portrait for the achievement "A Portrait Of A Lady".
First, teleport to the button location. Second, shoot a portal on the gel tank and another to the ramp. Third, press the button and run to the other side once the gel tank is done. Fourth, shoot the portal that you use on the gel tank and enter the portal. Fifth, shoot the portal on the location of the button that you use to spread the gel for the ramp. Sixth, run again and enter the portal. Seventh, shoot the same portal previously and press the button. Eighth, enter the portal and run but also jump. Ninth, bring the cube to the start and put it in the button. Tenth, run again and shoot a portal on the button. Eleventh, similar to the previous steps but you run in the portal instead of running to the other side and press the button once run through the portal.
Test Chamber 02:
Note: this one is a bit hard so be careful, but no need to save.
First, put a portal on the propulsion gel tank and shoot another portal pointing to your current place. Second, press the button and shoot on a portable surface on the top. Third, shoot another portal on the repulsion gel tank and press the button. Fourth, run while in propulsion and jump while you're in repulsion. Fifth, teleport to the top and shoot the portal that you use on the bottom at the start. Sixth, enter the portal and do the same thing as step 4 but while you're flying shoot a portal and enter it.
Test Chamber 03:
Note: some parts may be confusing so please find some parts on your own.
First, put a portal on the repulsion gel tank and shoot a portal on the ramp. Second, shoot a portal on the propulsion gel tank and spread the gel on the straight ramp. Third enter the straight ramp place and shoot another portal on the ramp that is used for repulsion gel. Fourth, run through the portal and grab the cube. Fifth, teleport to the start and spread the repulsion gel to the platform that is connected to the button, also try to make it clean. Sixth, shoot a portal on the farther straight ramp and another on the propulsion gel tank. Seventh, teleport to the nearer ramp. and shoot a portal on the farther ramp. Eighth, run through the portal and you will finish this test.
White Out
Achievement type: Story Related
To earn this achievement we have to finish at least one conversion gel test. To finish it we have to put a portal on the tank, then spread it to the ramp, the floor near the ramp, and the highest part of the right tower. After that, we have to shoot a portal on the ramp and fling.
Dual Pit Experiment
Achievement type: Story Related
To earn this achievement we have to finish the easy version of the test chamber 01 twice. How to finish this test just simply press the button and teleport to the other side. Do this twice.
Tunnel Of Funnel
Achievement type: Story Related
Note: I will only mention test chamber 15 as it's super long to make a guide of them all and all test chambers from Wheatley have an achievement called "Smash TV".
This achievement is earned by completing test chamber 15. To finish it press the button, then bring the funnel pointing to the frankenturret. After that, point the funnel to the start and wait for the frankenturret to reach the start and grab it. After that, bring the frankenturret to the propulsion gel button and use the funnel to make a propulsion gel ramp. After that, bring the turret to the funnel button and run to the funnel and wait till lands on the catwalk. After that, enter the fizzler shoot a portal in the middle and another in the start. Then enter the portal and run to the funnel (make sure you're fast enough).
The Part Where He Kills You
Achievement type: Story Related
This is earned by entering chapter 9. To earn it jump to the faith plate on test chamber 17 and wait till you are in chapter 9.
Scanned Alone
Achievement type: Easy
This achievement is earned by scanning yourself and the responder is a defective turret. To do it take out the template turret, stay in the scanner, and wait till the defective turret comes.
Lunacy
Achievement type: Story Related
This achievement is earned by finishing the game.
No Hard Feelings
Achievement type: Easy
This achievement is earned by grabbing an oracle turret in the redemption line. To earn this achievement go to the second redemption line and wait till a turret has a flickering laser. Lastly, grab it.
Good Listener
Achievement type: Easy
To earn this achievement we have to enter test chamber 22 and try to escape. To do this we have to run out from test chamber 21 and wait until there's a test chamber that has a heart on it. After that, enter it and go to the door. You'll eventually die and earn the achievement.
Drop Box
Achievement type: Easy
To earn this do the same thing as you do normally but for the second portal, shoot it on the button.
Preservation Of Mass
Achievement type: Easy
To earn this achievement brings the companion cube with you by using portals.
Portrait of a Lady
Achievement type: Easy
To earn this achievement after finishing the first propulsion gel test find the other side of the place and shoot a portal. Enter it and wait for GLaDOS to comment on it. You will simply earn this achievement.
Ship Overboard
Achievement type: Easy
To earn this go to the third floor by the building, find the hidden door, and go to the Borealis room, also get to the Borealis sign. You will earn this achievement.
Pturretdactyl
Achievement type: Easy
To earn this achievement, you need a turret and launch it on a faith plate. This can be done in test chamber 06 or 15 cause the garbage turret also works. Note it is not safe to be done on test chamber 19.
Pit Boss
Achievement type: Easy
To earn this achievement teleport to the side where Wheatley failed to smash you. Lastly, you need to do is do what Wheatley says.
Door Prize
Achievement type: Easy
So there are 5 of the vitrified doors but I recommend you press all doors that have mics. First in the old aperture where you first time fling in chapter 6 o to the flinging place and you see 3 mic doors Try either two or three. The last three are in the hidden door again in the hallway you will see 3 doors. Press them all for the achievement.
You Made Your Point
Achievement type: Easy
To earn this achievement go to the test chamber 01 (the easy version). Do not press the button and the pedestal button and wait till Wheatley says "Go on".
Schrodinger's Catch
Achievement type: Medium
This achievement requires you to save so save. This achievement is earned by getting the repulsion gel cube before it touches the ground. My best tip to do this is to go to where the cube is heading and grab the cube when it frees.
Final Transmission
Achievement type: Medium
To earn this achievement, we have to get to the signal of the 27th radio. To get the radio we have to get it from one of the garbages. Then we will go back to the beginning and shoot a portal to the rightest of your vision and launch the radio to the faith plate along with you. After that, when about to hit the ramp shoot the second portal and when you arrived to the den bring the radio to the wall.
Overclocker
Achievement type: Hard
To finish this achievement we have to finish test chamber 10 in 70 seconds. Luckily, I had an understanding guide on how to do this. First, we have to keep walking and shoot a portal high enough on the top of the door. Second, fling yourself and obtain the cube quickly. Third, do not fling, fall normally and jump to the faith plate. Fourth, block the laser and shoot a portal on the location you normally use to redirect the laser. Fifth, jump to the plate and shoot another portal in front of the receiver. Lastly, press the button, redirect the laser to the receiver, launch yourself with the storage cube, and put the cube in the button. Doing everything quickly enough will award you with this achievement.
Smash TV
Achievement type: Very Hard
Note: Test Chamber 16 is required to save as it's the hardest.
To earn this achievement you need to break 11 monitors in Wheatley's chambers.
1. Fling yourself to the monitor.
2. Obtain the frankenturret, shoot a portal facing the monitor, shoot another one in the platform that brings you to the end, and drop the frankenturret in the portal.
3. Same as 1.
4. Obtain the turret and face it to the monitor (make sure the turret is not dead).
5. Monitor 1: Do the same thing as you do to yourself to frankenturret and shoot the other portal on the right bottom of the funnel emitter.
Monitor 2: Do the same thing as the first monitor but near the end and portal points to monitor.
6. Launch yourself on a faith plate.
11. Obtain the redirection cube, shoot a portal in front of the monitor, and shoot another portal for the laser to redirect. Lastly, hit it to the monitor.
12. The laser that you use to exit the chamber is now used for the monitor.
15. Same as 1 and 3.
16. Do the test normally and kill only 2 of the turrets. Then you have to use a funnel on the respective turret side and grab the turret to face it to the monitor.
