Short Intro
Most of the abbreviations listed here have already been documented on the ToS Wiki[town-of-salem.fandom.com]

As a newer player, hoping into a game and seeing a bunch of random letters and numbers in chat is probably pretty daunting. The main goal of this guide is to let newer players know what chat abbreviations mean so they can understand what people are talking about.

I have just rephrased, added explanations, and cut down on the less common abbreviations for newer players to have an easier time understanding these slangs.

Check out the ToS Wiki page for the complete list of abbreviations (including Coven) here[town-of-salem.fandom.com].

TPLO on me
Used to ask for Town Protective roles and Lookout to use their ability on you. Usually used by Jailor claim Day 1.

Slowrolling / Slow vote
The target chosen to be voted takes a long time to get voted for. Usually players claim that this means the target is Mafia as Mafias/Evils will be reluctant to vote up another evil.

cc
Counterclaim. This is used when one player claims a role, but another player claims to have the same role (or another role of the same alignment).

#v#
Refers to the number of players left alive in each faction. A "4v4" would be 4 evils versus 4 Townies.

Referring to a player claiming they were attacked, usually followed by a claim that they were healed by a Doctor or saved by another Town Protective role.
Usage: "atk'd last night, healed by doc"

General Last Will Abbreviations

D# / N#
Day (number) or Night (number), commonly used in a Last Will.
Usage: I healed John Proctor N1 (Night 1).
