How to go into 1st person, use dev mode and add more deploy slots.

How to enable dev mode and first person.

Game options > Click on 'Options' 11 times. A "DEV" text will appear.

-Toggle 1st person view/freecam : F1 ( Point your mouse where you want to spawn from the top down view, then you control like it's any FPS. Use A and E to go up and down and the mouse wheel for finer adjustments. You can even shoot. You can also press space to pause/play but you already knew that I hope )
-Toggle debug stats : F8
-Hide Fog of war : CTRL + F
-Tilt cam down : END or 1 on your numpad.
-Tilt cam up : HOME or 7 on the numpad.

-Open any map while in it, no need for dev mode : CTRL + E
-Reload files : CTRL + R
-Reload textures : CTRL + T
-Reload game : CTRL + SHIFT + R

-Instant win : F4
-Instant lose : F3
-Spawn enemy : ,
-Spawn noise : .
-Spawn soccer ball : e ( now included without dev mode by pressing : "o"

If you want to add more deploy slots to a map and save it : Go into dev mode > load the map > ctrl+e > add the deploy slots you want > ctrl+s > ctrl+e > play the map with as many troops as you want. Just be aware that 1 : it could break the balance of the map and 2 the map will be saved as is "forever" until you either re valide your game files or change it back yourself.

While in dev mode if you want to hide the damage number, Alt+Tab out of your game, there should be a config window that's open on top of the other door kickers window. Open that, go to trailer controls then set damage number value to 0. There's plenty of other options there for the nerds. Just change the value of what you want different, it works the same afaik.

As the name implies, this was made by and for the developers, modders and map makers : the game obviously wasn't meant to be viewed or played from this perspective and might not appear as refined as you wish it to be. It is nonetheless a useful tool with plenty of uses : testing maps, recording and viewing replays from a different perspective, making mods, debuging etc.

Comment utiliser le mode dévelopeur + vue à la première personne.

Va dans les options du jeu et clique 11 fois sur Options. Le mot "DEV" apparait en haut à droite.

-Activer le mode 1ere personne : F1 ( clique où tu veux spawn. Pour se déplacer c'est les même touches pour jouer à n'importe quel FPS. Appuie sur A et E pour bouger verticalement. )
-Afficher les stats : F8
-Cacher le brouillard de guerre ( fog of war ) : CTRL + F
-Basculer la caméra vers le bas : début ou 1 sur le numpad.
-Basculer la caméra vers le haut : fin ou 7 sur le numpad.

-Reload files : CTRL + R
-Reload textures : CTRL + T
-Reload game : CTRL + SHIFT + R

-Victoire instantanée : F4
-Défaite instantanée : F3
-Faire apparaitre un enemie : ,
-Faire apparaitre un ballon : o ( inclut dans le jeu )

Pour cacher les nombres de dégâts, tu peux ALT+TAB et ouvrir la fenêtre qui se nomme "config" et remplacer "damage number" par 0. Le même principe s'applique pour toutes les autres options.

Comme le nom l'indique, cet outil a été créé par et pour les développeurs du jeu mais aussi pour les modders et les créateurs de cartes. Le jeu n'est clairement pas fait pour être vu de cette perspective. N'empêche qu'il reste un outils précieux et utile pour pleins de raisons : tester des cartes, voir ses replays d'un autre point de vue, pour créer des mods etc.
