Vanilla Tram Promenade

LATEST UPDATE: 08.01.2023 - complete overhaul of files (meshes, textures) - all tram promenades have the same meshes and textures, - Platforms on the basic version - Warning lights at intersections with roads

Please read:
IMPORTANT! Unfortunately, an unpleasant error happened to me when updating my network. Unfortunately I uploaded a new version instead of the updated version and some savegames are broken.
I rolled back the update and uploaded the old version of the network.
My old savegames worked again and I hope your savegames will work again too. Sorry for the inconvenience. (Status: 08/08/2022)

The Tram Promenade is inspired by European tram tracks (example: city promenade in Cottbus, Germany). The Tram Promenade is a wider version of the original vanilla tram tracks.

With this network, a personal wish has come true, as I longed for wider tram tracks and found nothing in the workshop. So I set about creating it.

Acknowledgments:
This network uses 3D models from the famous Network Extensions 2 Mod as well as the fabulous roads (VanillaPlus Roads) from Delta 5-1. The credit goes to the creators, as without their models the network would look different. You are doing a great job. The Network Extensions 2 Mod you find here. Deltas fabulous Vanilla-Plus-Roads collection you find here.

You do not need to subscribe to the Network Extensions Mod or Deltas fabulous Vanilla-Plus-Roads to use this network.

Features:
  • vanilla version with custom textures,
  • trees on the sides,
  • theme grass track on the ground version,
  • speed limit: 60 km/h,
  • Stops possible on Ground, Elevated and Bridge version,
  • rendered tunnels,
  • Pedestrians can use the footpaths on the sides

Do you would like gravel tram tracks?
You can find the gravel version of the Tram Promenade here.

Please note:
This network uses its own textures on nodes.
At intersections with the original vanilla tram tracks, there may be graphical display errors.

If you like my addition, give me a thumbs up :)

You are welcome to support my night shifts with a warm coffee: [paypal.me] (Only if you want of course!) :-)

Have a nice day! :-)

The vanilla tram track update is huge! After they updated the train tracks I wondered if they were ever going to update the tram tracks. Thank goodness they no longer look like grey rubber tubes lol.

@WONHO OPPA To use this network, you do NOT need to subscribe to the Network Extension 2 Mod. I play without this mod and the network works great with no problems.

! question like these tramroads but you used The Network Extensions 2 Mod do we really also subscribe to that because there already so much alternatives for this?

@Pexal I noticed the change of the new tram tracks in the editor. Apparently the tram tracks were also changed with the free patch. Apparently that wasn't communicated. The tracks look much better now. Accordingly, I have adjusted the tracks in the network.

Hey, what does it mean "new tram tracks"? Did I miss a part of the update?
