All Ace Combat wars (Timeline).

A guide of sort, that goes into detail every operation of Ace Combat games that takes place in strangereal timeline.

This guide is a work in progress.

Ace Combat Zero - The Belkan War

The game can be played in 3 diffrent ways.

• Mercenary Ace
  This style emphasizes destroying as many hostile and neutral targets as possible, which brings most credits but results in encounters with the toughest enemy aces.
  
• Soldier Ace
  This style strikes balance between indiscriminate destruction and avoiding unnecessary damage, earning less credits but facing easier enemies.
  
• Knight Ace
  This style emphasizes minimizing collateral damage (even from high-spread bombs). While the Knight Aces receive the least credits, they also face the least aggressive enemies.

The Belkan War takes place from March 25, 1995 to December 31, 1995.

On March 25, The Belkan Nation invades all neighboring countries, trigger the Belkan War.

In the early days of April. Osea and other countries that neighbor Belka (The bad guys), Including Ustio (The players nation), commence a joint operation as the newly-formed Allied Forces to push b ack against the Belkan Invasion.

April 2, 1995 - Operation Crossbow

Belkan bombers attempt to destroy Valais Air Base and remove the last Ustian stronghold. Galm Team and other 6th Air Division mercenaries destroy the bombers and prevent the base's destruction.

April 15, 1995 - Operation Roselein

Galm team secures Route 171 in the kingdom of Sapin to open a supply line for the Allied forces.

April 20, 1995 - Operation Choker One

Galm Team is sent to Area B74 (Commonly known as the round table) to fight of Belkan fighters, it is later known that Galm Team was used as decoys to allow the 3rd Osean Naval Fleet to begin their advance. at the end of the mission Galm Team faces of against a rival squadron.

April 24, 1995 - Operation Juggernaut

The Ustio and Osean coalition force launches a joint campaign, a campaign that was called "Offensive Campaign No. 4101".

Galm Team gets the choice of fighting in 3 diffrent areas of the Futuro Canal.

Operation Gelnikos is a combined air-to-air/air-to-ground mission. Galm Team shoots down several Belkan planes as well as destroy some ground facilities.

Operation Round Hammer is a anti-surface mission, Galm Team engages the nearby enemy fleet north of the canal.

Operation Costner is an anti-air escort mission. Galm Team is tasked to protect the 3rd Osean Naval fleet, lead by the carrier OFS Kestrel that was under heavy enemy air attacks.

May 12, 1995 - Operation Varsity

With help from Galm Team the Osean 101st and 122nd Airborne Division carry out a paratroop drop to capture the city of Solis Ortus (Ustio).

May 12, 1995 - Operation Constantine

Galm Team and the Osean ground forces liberate the capital city Directus (Ustio) from blekan rule, returning Ustio to independence, by the next day Ustio's borders return to their original states prior to the war's beginning.

This is the turning point of the war.

Some cities located in the southern Belkan region begin to peacefully surrender to Allied Forces as demilitarized "open cities". Belkan forces that ar estationed in these areas begin to mass retreat to Sudentor (South Belka).

May 17, 1995 - Operation Hell Bound

Following intel on V2, Osean forces and Ustian mercenaries begin to invade belka, starting at Mt. Ivrea, under the guise of a "nuclear inspection". No nuclear ordnance is found, but the invasion presses on.

By the end of the mission Pixy comments about a "flash", which later turns out to be the super weapon "Excalibur" under Belkan command.

May 19, 1995 - Operation Dynamo

Osea attempts to capture the Schayne Plains, Belka's second line of defense. Galm Team gets to choose again where they want to operate.

Alpha Team mission is to engage the Belkan Air Base at the northwestern part of the Schayne Plains.

Beta Team misssion is to engage the Belkan Air Base at the southeastern part of the Schayne Plains.

Theta Team mission is to provide air superiority in the area and secure the way back for Alpha and Beta Team.

Once all teams were successful in their operations, and air superiority was established, Allied transport planes entered the area. All forces were sent to escort the planes as they landed at the air bases and secured them for the Allied Forces.

However, before any of the transport planes could begin landing operations, the laser cannon Excalibur fired once more. All five transport planes were destroyed in two of Excalibur's laser shots. Operations Command ordered an immediate evacuation of all forces, but most of the planes deployed to the area were shot down by the lasers. Few planes remained when they came out of Excalibur's engagement zone, but among them were Cipher and Pixy.

May 23, 1995 - Operation Judgement

The Allied Forces mount an air assault to destroy Excalibur, involving the Galm Team and the newly-hired Crow Team. After a lengthy battle, Cipher of Galm Team destroys the weapon.

Belkan Super Weapon - Excalibur

May 28, 1995 - Operation Battle-Axe

Belka attempts to reacquire Area B7R, and a large-scale battle breaks out. Galm Team enters the fray and Cipher earns the title "Demon Lord" for shooting down a large number of Belkan aircraft, securing the airspace for the Allied Forces.

It is at this date that Wolfgang Buchner 'Pops' (From Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War) escapes from Belka, and befriends Jack Bartlett 'Heartbreak One' (From Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War) Both Buchner (under the alias of Peter N. Beagle) and Bartlett would later be stationed to Sand Island Air Force Base.

Once again Galm Team faces of against a rival squadron.

June 1, 1995 - Operation Cannibal

Osea commences the bombing of Hoffnung (Belka), supported by Galm and Crow Teams. What was supposed to be a standard precision-based bombing run turned out to be a straight out carpet bombing that later decimated the city of Hoffnung.

It is at this point that Pixy starts to question the meaning behind this war.

June 5 - Battle of Waldreich

Due to the Waldreich Mountains stalling the retreating Belkan forces, Sudentor remains defended by only three Belkan regiments. The Allied Forces use this to their advantage and begin an offensive on the city Sudentor.

June 6 - Operation Ravage

Galm and Crow Teams are dispatched to assist the Allied Forces in Sudentor. While en route, a squadron of Belkan bombers carrying nuclear weapons crosses their path, heading towards Ustio. Galm and Crow switch missions and shoot down the bombers, with the assistance of Belkan separatists.

Despite this, Belkan ground troops detonate seven nuclear devices in the Waldreich Mountains, claiming 12,000 lives.

Pixy then turns on Cipher and attempts to shoot him down under all the commotion before leaving the battle area and disappering.

Due to the confusion and loss of communications, Allied and Belkan forces engage in bloody conflicts throughout the area. The Belkan forces retreating to Sudentor broke through and ended the Allied Forces' assault on the city.

June 13 - Operation Stone Age

Patrick James Beckett (PJ), formerly Crow Team's number 3, joins Cipher as Galm 2. Cipher and PJ assault a large number of unrelenting Belkan troops holed up in Mount Schirm.

June 20, 1995 - Operation Broom

The peace treaty to end the Belkan War takes place in Lumen (South Belka). Simultaneously, Galm Team carries out a top-secret operation against Belkan resistance in Anfang (Northeastern Belka).

December 25, 1995: Operation Valkyrie

The terrorist organization A World With No Boundaries uses the heavy command cruiser XB-0 Hresvelgr (stolen Belkan prototype) to bomb Lumen and Valais Air Base with the help of Espada Team. Galm Team intercepts and shoots down the XB-0 and Espada over the Waldreich Mountains.

December 31, 1995 - Operation Thunderbolt

The Allied Forces discover A World With No Boundaries had commandeered Avalon Dam to launch a prototype V2 missile and cause mass destruction. An air assault is quickly executed and Galm Team is dispatched to Avalon Dam.

Galm Team gets intercepted over Area B7R and have to once again fight a rival squadron.

December 31, 1995 - Operation Point Blank

Galm Team and other Allied Forces fly through Mund Valley and arrive at Avalon. Cipher enters the dam's tunnel network to destroy the V2 control devices, while Crow and the other mercenaries engage forces in the air. After all the devices are destroyed, a short celeberation.

PJ tells Cipher that he is going to propose to his girlfriend, but Larry Foulke 'Pixy' arrives in the super fighter ADFX-02 Morgan and shoot towards Cipher, PJ brakes his plane infront of Cipher and dies in the process.

Cipher engages Pixy in a duel. Midway through the battle, Pixy launches the V2, but Cipher shoots down his Morgan and the V2 detonates harmlessly in the atmosphere.

Ulysses 1994XF04 passes Earth's Roche limit and begins to separate into numerous fragments.

July 8-20, 1999

• Usea: 500,000 people die in the first two weeks, and many more become displaced refugees. Many countries, including the FCU, begin discussing refugee acceptance policies. The FCU asks Erusea for assistance in handling the refugees.
  
• Emmeria: The country is barely affected through the prolific use of underground shelters.
  
• Estovakia: Due to the limited timeframe and the Chandelier's complex design, the railgun was not completed in time. As a result, Estovakia suffers considerable human loss and is driven into a state of economic collapse.

Ace Combat 4 - Shattered Skies

September 14, 2004
Erusea weaponizes Stonehenge and suddenly attacks the ISAF on all fronts, forcing them to retreat to the east. ISAF GHQ in Los Canas assembles an airborne strike force to destroy Stonehenge. The operation fails; all aircraft are shot down by Yellow Squadron. Los Canas surrenders days later, and ISAF performs a massive retreat off of the continent.

September 19, 2004 - Operation Umbrella

Erusea attempts to bomb ISAF's HQ at North Point, but the bomber squadron is shot down by Mobius 1 and other ISAF pilots.

October 5, 2004 - Operation Harvest

Mobius 1 together with other ISAF pilots pre-emptively assault Erusean bombers stationed at Rigley Air Base.

October 10, 2004 - Operation White Out

Mobius 1 together with other ISAF pilots destroy Mt. Shezna radar stations in northern Usea, allowing the remaining ISAF troops gathered at Saint Ark to perform a mass retreat.

November 7, 2004 - Operation Hunting Hawk

Mobius together with other ISAF pilots begins an assault on Erusea's Aegir Fleet to prevent it from attacking North Point. ISAF pilots shoot down Erusean transports and electronic warfare aircraft in the vicinity of Comberth as the first stage.

November 19, 2004 - Operation Early Bird

Mobius 1 together with other ISAF pilots perform an assault on Erusea's Petrochemical Complex, to freeze the ships docked at Comberth Harbor. Yellow Squadron intervenes, but ISAF's attack was successful.

November 23, 2004 - Operation Rough Seas

Mobius 1 together with other ISAF pilots perform a direct assault on the immobilized Aegir Fleet, completely destroying it, and Erusea's invasion of North Point is halted indefinitely.

December 16, 2004 - Operation Blackout

Mobius 1 together with other ISAF pilots cripple an Erusean solar power generator plant. However, many of the pilots are killed by Stonehenge fire.

December 31, 2004 - Operation Countdown

ISAF attempts to launch a recon satellite from the Comona Islands. ISAF and Erusean pilots enter a massive furball, and Mobius 1 shoots down a group of bombers sent to destroy the facility. The rocket launch succeeds.

January 24, 2005 - Operation Bunker Shot

Mobius 1 together with other ISAF pilots performs a ground assault on three southern Usean beaches, out of Stonehenge's radius. With the help of close air support, a beachhead is established.

February 28, 2005 - Operation Woodpecker

ISAF pilots pre-emptively strike against Erusean forces stationed at Istas Fortress. Despite fire from Stonehenge, the Eruseans are heavily damaged, allowing ISAF ground troops to quickly take over the area and liberate Los Canas.

March 14, 2005 - Operation Noah's Ark

Erusean pilots attack two passenger planes (Air Ixiom flight 701 and 702) carrying engineers who worked on Stonehenge. Mobius 1 is sent on an emergency sortie to defend the aircraft. They land safely at an ISAF base, and the engineers provide valuable intel on Stonehenge's defenses.

April 2, 2005 - Operation Stone Crusher

ISAF launches a second aerial assault on Stonehenge. With the engineers' intel, Mobius 1 destroys the jamming facility in the center of Stonehenge and proceeds to destroy all seven active railguns. Yellow Squadron arrives late to the airspace, and Mobius 1 shoots down Yellow 4, forcing them to retreat.

May 7, 2005 - Operation Blindman's Bluff

An ISAF U-2 is prevented from returning to safe territory by jammers in Gnome Ravine. Mobius 1 sorties and eliminates the jamming, as well as Erusean reinforcements sent to shoot down the U-2. The spy plane brings back data on Megalith, a weapon that can drop asteroids from orbit onto the planet, which is under hasty construction.

June 18, 2005 - Operation Aurora

Cruise missiles are fired towards ISAF ground troops in the north. Mobius 1 sorties and shoots down all cruise missiles, allowing the ground troops to continue their advance.

July 10, 2005 - Operation Firefly

ISAF launches a large-scale assault on Erusean forces stationed at San Salvacion to liberate the city. With cooperation from the local Resistance, the city is swiftly liberated. Erusean forces are pushed back to their own country, and ISAF begins invading Erusean territory.

August 15, 2005 - Operation Sandstorm

ISAF engages the Erusean ground troops using the Whiskey Corridor as their final line of defense before Erusea's capital, Farbanti. With the help of close air support from Mobius 1 and the other ISAF pilots, the Eruseans are forced to retreat to the capital.

September 19, 2005 - Operation Autumn Thunder

SAF forces lay siege to the Erusean capital, Farbanti. Yellow Squadron sorties to defend the city, but Mobius 1 shoots down all of them, including Yellow 13. Helicopters carrying some top Erusean officials are also shot down. ISAF takes control of the Erusean headquarters. The Erusean Supreme Commander is found dead in a helicopter that didn't take off, where his wife and daughter were taking refuge. Erusea accepts the terms of surrender, and the Continental War is brought to a close.

September 26, 2005 - Operation Judgement Day

ISAF creates an emergency assault plan to destroy Megalith. ISAF's pilots are all reformed into the single, new Mobius Squadron. With support from ISAF ground troops, Mobius 1 enters the facility to destroy its power generators, as well as a large missile stored in Megalith's central silo. The entire facility is destroyed, and Mobius 1 and the ground forces escape unharmed.

Garuda Team together with other Emmerian forces launch four operations to retake Gracemeria. These operations fail due to a defensive network comprised of the P-1112 Aigaion, Strigon Team and Estovakia's South Sea Fleet, forcing Emmeria to retreat further west.

November 24, 2015 - Operation Bombing of Vitoze

A large formation of Estovakian bombers attempts to destroy Emmeria's remaining forces on Khesed Island, but the Emmerian Air Force intercepts shoots down all bombers.

November 27, 2015 - Operation Battle of Sipli Field

Emmeria begins a counterattack by eliminating Estovakian forces controlling Sipli Field.

December 27, 2015 - Operation Battle of Bartolomeo Fortress

Emmerian forces liberate Mount Marcello from Estovakian forces, regaining control over the entirety of Khesed Island.

February 7, 2016 - Operation Standoff in Silvat Town

The Emmerian Air Force rescues numerous ground troops trapped in Silvat Town by Estovakian forces, boosting Emmeria's counterattack strength.

February 12, 2016 - Operation Battle of Selumna Peak

Emmerian ground forces attempt to traverse the Selumna Peaks, and while they are successful, the Emmerian Air Force is forced to retreat due to another Nimbus missile attack from the Aigaion.

February 15, 2016 - Operation San Loma Assault

Emmeria recaptures San Loma in order to launch a springboard to destroy the Aigaion.

February 20, 2016 - Operation Assault on the Aerial Fleet

The Emmerian Air Force, led by Garuda Team, shoots down and destroys the Aigaion and the entire Aerial Fleet.

March 6, 2016 - Operation Battle of Ragno Fortress

Emmeria recaptures Grageo Canyon, opening a route toward Gracemeria.

March 25, 2016 - Operation Battle of the Moloch Desert

Emmerian forces break through Estovakia's last line of defense in Moloch Desert, but are forced to retreat when Estovakia reveals its scorched earth policy to use chemical weapons on Gracemeria.

March 26, 2016 - Operation Fort Norton Infiltration

Emmeria sends Garuda Team to destroy Estovakia's chemical agent catalyst while it's in transport near Fort Norton. Garuda Team is ambushed by a battalion of aircraft, but then saved by the rest of the Emmerian Air Force.

March 31, 2016 - Operation Free Gracemeria

Emmerian forces launch a large-scale offensive to liberate Gracemeria from Estovakian control. After most Estovakian forces are defeated, Ilya Pasternak enters the airspace and engages Garuda Team with a barrage of UAV-45s and his unique CFA-44 Nosferatu. Talisman shoots down and kills Pasternak, and Gracemeria is declared liberated.

April 1, 2016 - Operation Assault on the Chandelier

The Emmerian Air Force performs a blind operation to destroy the Chandelier, but they receive assisting data from Voychek provided by the Emmeria Independence Radio. The Air Force destroys the Chandelier's cooling units, weakening the railgun. Marcus 'Shamrock' Lampert gathers data on the Chandelier's backup cooling unit, and crashes after sustaining anti-aircraft fire. Talisman destroys the backup unit and the Chandelier's core, causing the railgun to fall apart.
