Thriller - Oscar Bruch (Recreation)

Descrição
Manufactured by Anton Schwarzkopf and BHS, designed by Werner Stengel, and operated by Oscar Bruch, Thriller made its debut on the 17th of May, 1986. Thriller was the last coaster to be manufactured by Schwarzkopf. As the penultimate piece of the German showmen's coaster wars, it took Dreier Looping's two world records as the largest traveling coaster ever made and the most inversions on a traveling coaster at that point in time. Thriller quickly earned a reputation for offering an extremely intense ride experience due in part to its first 2 concentric perfectly circular loops subjecting riders to 6.5gs of force. Due to the rides unusual and oddly primative design, neck and back injuries were commonly reported among riders early in the ride's life. The ride underwent several modifications to enhance rider safety and comfort such as the reprofiling of the entry and exit of the first 2 loops and retrofitting the ride's original lap bar trains with accordion style shoulder retraints. This recreation in particular aimed to capture Thriller as it was right before it left the fair circuit.

After spending hours and hours on my own recreation, and watching onride videos of the real ride over and over again, I can definitely say, that this recreation is extremly accurate. Good work!
