Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to present to you: People Playground Essentials (Or People Playground+ if you'd prefer that). A collection full of add-ons that definitively improve PPG. For those of you that have seen a similar collection of mine -- Garry's Mod Essentials -- this concept will be familiar to you.


People Playground Essentials is a collection full of add-ons that I've found that adhere to People Playground's aesthetic so well, you might wonder why they're not already in the game. This collection doesn't aim to completely corrupt PPG's identity and make it something it's not, this collection simply aims to build on-top of and refine what was already there - In other words, the goal of the collection is to enhance People Playground overall with as few "catches" as possible. As you've probably come to expect from me: I had a few priorities that I followed whilst making this (In-order of importance):

• The base mechanics of the game cannot be overhauled completely, only enhanced or expanded upon. I want every add-on in PPG Essentials to feel a polished addition to the game, mostly quality-of-life improvements, not like an un-necessary change.
  
• Every mod included must match People Playground's style (To a reasonable extent). No hyper-realistic PNG's or hyper-unrealistic items allowed!
  
• Most of the changes should either be togglable, or ignorable (Purist friendly; Does not include UI) SIKE! If you bulk download this collection and don't like a change, just use People Playground's built-in mods menu to disable them... Or just uninstall them.
  
• ♥♥♥♥ mods that make you spawn items for them to work! Me and my homies HATE menu clotting!
  
• No reskin packs or mods featuring copyrighted material here. I feel like this goes without saying, but just in-case it doesn't: There you go. This isn't another one of those collections, trust me

Be sure to take these priorities into account before hitting that 'Subscribe to all' button... Or don't, I'm not your dad.

For those who'd like to know what they're getting into, I did you the courtesy of listing everything this mega-collection changes, and some of the add-ons you have to thank. Feel free to take a look, and decide for yourself what you like or don't like:

• 4 Vanilla-style maps, thanks to Old Maps and Hidden Maps. I generally avoided adding maps to PPG Essentials, purely because I figured maps should be the players choice, not mine, but these were in the game officially are one point (Or *are* but are just secret), soo...
  
• MANY new tools to put to good use, thanks to Mulligan, Quick Right Click Options, etc. Who doesn't like a 'lil extended functionality?
  
• Various minor UI improvements, thanks to Names & Death Notifications, Favourites Menu, Category Switcher, etc.
  
• Countless new toys to play with (Guns, explosives, melee weapons & props), thanks to Vanilla Firearm Expansion, More Explosives, Melee Weapons Mod, etc. Ever looked at your arsenal and thought "I love these, but I just wish there was more? Well, this collection has you covered!
  
• 29 new powers to play with, thanks to Powers Mod, Zool, etc. Why limit yourself to only 8 default powers?
  
• Brand new clothes system - Featuring 6 head cosmetics (Hats/glasses), 16 shirts, 2 pairs of pants and 10 outfits. Instead of having thousands and thousands of clothed humans clogging your menus: Wouldn't it make more sense if you could just slap the outfits onto the humans yourself instead?
  
• Many miscellaneous gameplay improvements, thanks to Better Gore, Pickup Advanced, Aerodynamics, etc. These are the kind of improvements that you'll only begin to notice and appreciate if you play the game far too much
