To new PoE players, here are a some websites / tools that can help you

Since that game is a bit different from another game I won't mention, here is a few things that can help you.

First, you need to understand that most of things on PoE has been bringed by community and slowly integrated to the game by GGG, so understand that's the reason why having some of this tools is tolerated by GGG and are optionnal (but helpfull).

Find informations

PoE Ninja [poe.ninja] :: This website you can use to pricecheck certain items super easily. Also good for example to check the build section and follow the top people with the same build to see how they are building it.

PoEdb [poedb.tw] :Loot of informations here too, save it of later as well.

Path of Exile Item Affixes [poeaffix.net] : To check Affixes on items.

Find a build / Follow a build

Official forum [www.pathofexile.com] : Look at the build section (7th section)

Build of exile [www.buildofexile.com] : A build tracker

Path of Building [github.com] : An out of game tool that allow you to create, follow and share builds. Can calculate nearly everything about your build with value that are not avalaible in game.

Poe planner[poeplanner.com] : A build planner website, like Path of Building but don't need to instal anything with less informations.

PoeBuilds [www.poebuilds.cc] : Alot of populair builds are on this website highlighted.

Trading

If you play non-SSF leagues, you can trade between players. Note that if you wan't to SELL something, you can do it in game by buying ONE premium stash tab, which is 1,5$ (meaning you have to spent a minimum of 5$, and it the only thing I recommand you to buy). Overwise, you can still make a post forum in the trading section, but it's a little more complicated so I recommand you the first option.

Unofficial trading site [poe.trade] :The one we all used before previous one. They are both good. Usually on league start official or this one is laggy so you can use one or the other.

PoE TradeMacro[poe-trademacro.github.io] :A out of game script (need auto hot key) to check items prices, stats and do auto-shearsh on the unofficial trading site listed right before. Very helpfull.

Mercury Trade [github.com] : A out of game tool to auto anwser people that want to buy you something / people you buy something

PoE Trades Companion[http//PoE+Trades+Companion] : Another out of game tool to auto anwser buying/selling people in game, like the previous one.

Awakened PoE Trade [snosme.github.io] : My personal favorite price checker it works very well.

Poemap.trade [poemap.trade] Good website to get started early on to swap maps for others that you still need to complete the atlas.

Others

PoE Lab[www.poelab.com] : Give daily lab layout, you will understand once you reach lab in game.

Filter Blade [www.filterblade.xyz] : To customize your filter in game (in Options > UI), helps you manage your looting experience better. If you are new there are many videos on settings your first filter up.

Vorici Chromatic Calculator [siveran.github.io] : Shows you the cheapest way on obtaining the right socket colours.

Chaos recipe enhancer[github.com] : Makes it easier to do your chaos recipes.

new player here, thanks for the information. I am enjoying playing the game, got interested in it because it was playable on the Steam Deck. Glad I picked it up because I am having a good time, but wish there was a bit more in game explanation on things in the early game. But I have found the community around this game really helpful.

PoE.ninja reference is on point. Sometimes a bit less accurate for price checking than the official site even though it pulls from the official site. Usually off by about 1-2 chaos in my experience. Using it for checking builds is top tier too.

Please remove the fandom wiki, it's utter garbage. Replace with {LINK REMOVED}poewiki.net. It's so much more reliable.

Don't use the fandom wiki please. There is an official one... Also there are browser addons to automatically redirect you to the official one if you accidentally click on the fandom one. Use that.
