TRINE 4 - the MELODY of MYSTERY DLC only Secret Locations for 100%

WELCOME, my mate in power of The TRINE! :)

I know well there’s no any achievement belong to the Melody of Mystery DLC, but I think many players try to perform the game perfectly to 100% so sweat with the puzzles. Especially about finding the Letters, the Treasures, the Dream Keys in their secret locations and completing them.

I tried to loooking for and find some videos in YT but as far as I saw there’s no 100% guide there. Beside it, I believe there are many players who prefer reading than watching videos. That’s why I decided now I made a ’screenshot guide’.
The DLC includes 6 chapters and you must find the secret location of 1 letter, 1 treasure and 1 Key or Keyring then have to solve the puzzle for complete it to get them.

Eventually you can access the secret room, and then…!!!
Oh, but no. You’ll see… :)

So, this guide will lead your way throughout the tale simply, it does step by step. Maybe you don,t need the complete solution, perhaps only one picture will be enough to step over your issue. (Just before you try to smash your keyboard and / or mouse. Hahahaha!)[/b]

About The Secret Locations

Below the Secrets I marked the number of checkpoints what you can see in the map menu, and you can search faster by them.)
Explalation of every Secret Room consists of 2 parts: how you can find the secret area then and you can complete the puzzle.

General Tips:
Before we start, I’d draw your attention the follows:

1., If you don’t have the Pontius’ ’Magnetized Dream Shield’ and Amadeus’ ’Three Objects’ yet, buy them. If you don’t have skillpoint enough, you must reset a few other skill so you can earn some (3-3) skillpoints to get the mentioned skills. There are a few tasks that can’t be done without these skills, but they ease your completing tasks significantly any else case too.

2., Switch on the assist line on Pontius’ Dream Shield or if you want, do same on Zoya’s arrows (because they are switched off default). you can dot here: Main Menu --> Options --> Control Options --> Use shield aiming visulization / Use bow aiming visulization.
These assist line(s) will help you about the aiming many times so they’re really useful.

CHAPTER 19 – HEROES’ DREAM

In the third picture: be fast as Pontius with ’Charge’ to move left after you lift up the door with ’Stomp’.

In the third, fourth picture: Be fast as Amadeus with the moving stone to left after you shoot the ice arrow as Zoya. But not too urgent. You aren't able to be such fast that you hit the stoneblock when your arrow is going up from the teleport. Your arrow will hit that block when it falls back down.

1. Because at first you see you no many chance to do.
2. Because you can think you will tear with your arrows Zoya’s Fairy Rope. It’s absolutely right but the button will be pushed when it’s happen and the cube falls down.

in the second picture is very important. Zoya is thinking strongly about the solution after she showed the treasure chest with her bow.



The first picture is unique, regard that I explain the solution with this only one picture. It should be enough, considering that neither the order of pushing buttons nor the time spent on solution matters, the upshot does only.

The third really tricky puzzle in the DLC. The order of moving planks is really important. if you are not patient and careful enough, the electric current can easily shake you. The most important thing that you place the plank correctly what you stand on and you enter the tresure chest chamber from.

THE TREASURE: Spellbook

Chapter 24 – Checkpoint 12 (begin)

Find:

1. ONLY AFTER the fight you can see the Spikes under the ground and you can attach it a conjured box.
2. It’s not an easy jump by Zoya, Watch the Rope length, and the its connection point on the box: it’s not on bottom side, it’s on right side. Before you jump down from the edge aim to the box side with your pointer.

Chapter 24 – Checkpoint 14
You can also reach it if you go back from Checkpoint 15, it’s faster/easier.

As the last Secret place it’s far the hardest puzzle in the DLC (and also in the whole game).
You will have to do many jumps and building with Pontius’ Magnetic Dream Shield and Amadeus’ planks. Then you have to shoot only one time but precisely.
