Improvised Silencers by Maxwell218

Omschrijving
This mod adds new craftable silencers and is 100% compatible with existing saves.
You will require a screwdriver to attach all silencers. This is how it works in vanilla. If one day someone figures out a way to change that, I will remove the need to use a screwdriver to attach the silencers.

IMPORTANT - This mod also fixes some of the vanilla weapon attachments offset (for the m16 and m14). The recoil pad on the m14 is a good example of something that vanilla pz currently doesn't show properly.

Compatible weapon mod(s)

IMPORTANT - So far only VFE is compatible with this mod.

In order to play with both my mod and VFE, please make sure you ONLY enable the patch and VFE. You will also need to assure that my mod loads after VFE (use mod manager for an easier time setting up mod order)

@springieru it says on the description "IMPORTANT - So far only VFE is compatible with this mod."

Is his compatible with britas?

says I need VFEexpansion1, how to fix this?

Anyone know why when i attach a silencer to VFE firearms only the first shot is suppressed? And its not the hand torch or bottle silencer. Just the "silencer"

Is there anyway to disable the high level silencer crafting recipe. Running a server with friends and would prefer to limit the crafted silencers to the other 3

When I try to add this mod it says I am missing "VFExpansion1" and can not find where to download it.

What seems to work is changing the load order to include both improvised silencer files. I have it set from the bottom: VFE > Improvised silencers VFE Patch > Improvised silencers.

This fixed the issue for me. No graphical issues with silencers appearing in mid-air and I'm able to attach the silencers to anything.

Changing the load order to have VFE at the bottom followed by only the patch seems to fix the graphic issue. However, I can't add silencers to anything anymore. Existing weapons with improvised silencers still have em on but once they're removed, there's not way to reattach them.

Using only the standalone version yes, but even just that I didn't get working, only until I threw both mods like that all the way at the bottom, unless I continuously read over that somewhere.

I do notice that a lot of people's issues stem from not reading the mod description in-game which says the patch is a standalone version, and clearly misunderstand/-stood this page's description about it as well. It's like asking tech support customers "Did you plug it in?", easy solution :P

It's weird, it's almost like I read that somewhere... :)

Glad you got it working.
