POSTAL 4: No Regerts 100% Achievement Guide

The first complete guide to all POSTAL 4 Achievements.

Introduction

Some important info regarding the achievements:
-As of 1.0.6, at least one achievement is still glitched but obtainable
-Achievements can't be obtained on easy, and they can't be obtained if you used cheats (the save file gets marked, You'll have to use a different one)
-More achievements may get added in the future.

Story

-Look ma, I'm a HOBO!
"Make your homeless sign"


-Holocaust: Part Trois
"Reunite with an old enemy, again"


Probably missable, you get this one on friday when you kill Mike J. If you're doing a pacifist run you (probably) won't get this one (can't 100% confirm it though, as it may trigger during the cutscene that you also get when you do it pacifist)

Challenge Playthroughs

-Passion of the Christ 2: Crucify This
"Completed the story with no kills"


Finish the game without killing anyone, animals may or may not count (don't kill any just to be sure).
General/spoiler free tips:
-Catnip is extremly useful, but it only kicks in after a second. Be ready to use it during errands that don't have a pacifst route
-Pissing on people will often make them puke, during which they'll stop firing at you
-Non lethal weapons aren't always non lethal, sometimes after using the rattler's non lethal mode I would end up with kills
-Save often, and ALWAYS check your stats before saving. Sometimes you'll see that you got a couple kills despite not doing anything
-Start the game on Monday, through many errands you'll be running low on health and you want to collect as many items as possible. Also, starting the game on any day other than monday starts you off with 1 kill.
-You get an item on Tuesday that's necessary to finishing a pacifist run.

Tips for specific days:
-On Tuesday, pay the fine by kicking any parkometer next to a car and then fine the car.
-On Tuesday, during the border mission shoot the immigrants while the guards are looking away, they only start attacking when they see the flying immigrants.
-On Tuesday, as Cat Dude piss in the dog's bowl and wait for the dog to drink it to finish the bully dog errand.
-On Tuesday, after finishing all Cat Dude errands pick up the milk. It should be either in front of you, or in front of the store where you get the milk (I'm not sure because I always do the milk errand last).
-On Wednesday, use the drag outfit to get signatures. (for details, see: Breezy, not sleezy)
-On Wednesday, bribe both Kunny and Carter Cruise to avoid the boss fight.
-On Thursday, vote using the machine.
-On Thursday, complete the game tester errand by repeating level 3 a couple times.
-On Thursday, complete the fix race errand by either knocking over the other racers without killing them to let the red scooter win or have someone else win the race, then escape
-On Thursday, due to how the pit boss errand triggers the fires you can skip one and run straight to the end, JustT3ssel uploaded a video on how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIeo1AkFsnw
-On Friday, you need to "kill" the Merc Superior and since you're only shooting the armor off it won't count as a kill. Some people are saying it did count for them, so be sure to check the kill stat after you're out of the mall
-On Friday, You can skip the final boss fight by placing the milk you got on Tuesday on the table before triggering the cutscene. There are people saying that you can beat him without the milk, when he falls over from tranq darts it counts as a kill. I can't confirm if this is true or not

-Roadhouse
"Complete the game by only using kicks to kill people."


As of 1.0.6, this one is bugged but still possible if you finished the game before 1.0.6.
What you need to do is load a non pacifist save from before the end of the game that was made before 1.0.6. In my experience any saves made in the residential area will crash, but saves made on maps next to it work fine. After loading an old save made after beating the final boss, sprint to the end and trigger the ending. Don't kill anyone or do anything that could mess it up

A user called Niko left this comment, maybe this works
"Got Roadhouse just now without old saves. What I did:
- Normal pacifist run with manual save near the final exit.
- Finished the game and got achievement for no kills run.
- Loaded save, left residential area.
- Kicked 9 people and 3 cops to death (I kicked a few doors during playthrough, but it could be done here if needed).
- Got back to the exit. Kicked NPC in the shack.
- Waited there and got the achievement for evading max wanted level.
- Finished the game and got Roadhouse."

TRIVIA: The "Roadhouse" achievement description used to be "Beat the game by only using kicks to open doors and kill people", but the doors requirement never worked.

Errand Related

These are only obtainable during certain errands or days, keep an eye out for them.

-Can we fix it? No we can't!
"Hit all barrels with an immigrant during the Border Smuggler errand"


On Tuesday, throw an immigrant at every single barrel. Two are accessible from the very start, and a big pack of barrels gets pulled into view near the end

-Mean Kitty
"As the Cat Dude, kill 10 chicks"


On Tuesday, after one of the errands turns you into a cat find and kill 10 little chicks. I got this achievement after killing only 5.

-Highscore, what does that mean?
"Beat all highscores of the Scooter Challenge"


Not strictly errand related, but I don't think this appears after Tuesday. On Tuesday you'll get a race side quest. Finish the race faster than the #1 leaderboard position. Some people are reporting that scooter speed is tied to your FPS, if you're having issues lower your settings.










-Breezy, not sleezy
"Get all 10 petition signatures using the drag outfit."


On Wednesday, ask a couple people to sign your petition. This will unlock a side quest, go to the objective marker, select the sexy outfit in the mirror and then ask people to sign your petition until you have all 10 signatures. (You'll also get the classic outfit added to your inventory)

-4 can play that game!
"Kill 4 fast-food workers during the Mexicleaner errand with the FOURnicator"


On Wednesday, get a FOURnicator and some ammo (you can buy these from the vending machines), then during the Mexicleaner errand kill 4 fast-food workers. From what people are saying, you need to kill 4 fast-food wolkers with the alt fire. It doen't have to be all in one shot, you just need to kill 4 of them with the alt fire in general. I have no way to test this, since I got the achievement while it was extremely broken.

-Lame of Thrones
"Install all bidets for Mike without killing anyone"


Pretty self-explanatory, I recommend doing this while going for a pacifist run. You don't have to kill tinklage to install his bidet.

-Lynched
"Kill all of the mountain men on Thursday"


On Thrusday you'll start in a spooky forest with a bunch of mountain men. Before going back to the main part of town kill all the mountain men. I recommend shooting loudly after getting your weapons back as this gets the mountain men to come to you. The achievement pops after leaving the forest and entering the Vince cutscene

-Scooter Tutor
"Beat the Fix Race errand by crossing the finished line with a fully bloodied scooter"


On Thursday, kill everyone in the race (the leaderboard on the left will update) and then win the race (which will count as the red scooter winning since your scooter is all covered in blood)

Murder

These can be done at any time, for other murder related achievements see the "Errand Related" section

-One Side, Gramps
"Run over 50 people using the mobility scooter."


You'll likely get this by playing the game normally

-We still ain't got no budget!
"Kill 100 pigeons from thrown cages"


The way I did this was to find an area without anyone nearby, then I threw a bunch of pigeon mines and then shot a rocket into the pigeons.

-Yippee Ki-Yay
"Kill 7 people at the same time using Dude Eye"


"Dude eye" is the revolver bar. Kill a couple people with the revolver until the red bar is full, reload, and then use the alt fire to kill 7 people in one go.

Collectibles & Rampages

-Dude Vinci Code
"Collect all the paintings in the game"


-One of Uwe's Best
"Finish all rampages"


-Still playing with dolls!
"Collect all Krotchy, Kunny, & Larry collectibles"

NOTES:
-Some dolls respawn (definitely a glitch), you can grab the respawning ones over and over until you have enough for the achievement

Other

-And remember, respect is everything!
"Reach maximum heat level with the police and survive!"


Get a wanted level (you don't need me to explain how to get one), and after getting it to the max a police assault. Simply survive it, wait for the wanted meter to run out and the achievement will pop

-PISSASSO
"Turn 10 toilets yellow with piss"


You might notice that no toilets are turning yellow, that's because the effect either isn't in the game or it's just broken. Just piss in every toilet you see and eventually you'll get this achievement

-I Wanna Dance With Somebody
"Find the secret crack den!"


Get to the trailer park area near the prison, and crouch under the one with a big fence.



-Don't forget to wash your hands!
"Flush after taking a piss in a toilet"


For whatever reason not every toilet will work, The more round ones do work though. I did this in the KTDF building

-No Way Trailer Home
"Finish the same errand with all 4 Dude voices."


When you start a new game you get to choose a voice actor (Jon St. John, Rick Hunter, Corey Cruise, Zack Ward). Simply finish the same errand with each one of the voice actors (visiting the job agency on Monday counts as finishing an errand)

I managed to cheese the border-smuggling task by shooting tranquilliser bullets at the first border guard until he fell down. After that it was trivial to sneak all of the guys past the final two guards. I couldn't find the milk during Tuesday but I heard somewhere you can find it on Friday somewhere.

You must have disabled something because I managed to do all the Murder related challenges no problem.

don't bother doin 100%, it's bugged. I did all murder achievements, since they were the quickest and none of them popped up

For the pacifist run, personnaly I like using the pump shotgun with the electric ammo. Don't take the tranquiliser ammunition tho, it takes more shot to neutralise a target AND electric ammo stuns on hit.

I've done 60 of Postal challenges and I can't find the last one, I think I'm gonna lose my tiny little mind...

The postal challenge on top the crane where you have to dropkick 5 people is broken. You can do it, but it's going to take a lot of attempts. There's barely any people around. You can't dropkick the same NPC twice, you can't dropkick any law enforcement NPCs or any hostile faction NPCs or it won't count. And sometimes randomly you can hit an eligible NPC and still won't count. Make a save on top the crane

Animal Catcher errand also has a pacifist route, that's not mentioned
