Better Born in the Purple

This will enable Rome to be your capital and get the Born in the Purple trait with the ERE or WRE.

This mod adds an event similar to the vanilla Born in the Purple application event, but with Rome as the capital province instead of Constantinople. This enables you to have either Rome or Constantinople as your capital and get the trait if the mother is at the capital (just as the vanilla event).

I added an event as to avoid any overwrite of vanilla code. This should be compatible with anything that doesn't remove the Born in the Purple trait (duh)... and I guess anything that removes child births?

11/3/2023 Update: I have updated the mod and added the trigger for if you have the Roman culture - as well as have the tag "e_wre" (the Western Roman Empire title from the Roman Flavor mod) you will also get the Born in the Purple trait applied to children. Previously, your culture had to have a tradition that had the "children_can_be_born_in_the_purple" parameter set - which the Roman culture does not have.
