Unlock Secret Character Leda!

This guide shows how to unlock the secret character Leda!

Steps

• 1) Unlock stage 4 called Gallo Tower.
  
• 2) Run SOUTH for a very long time.
  
• 3) Eventually the music will change and you will be surrounded by darkness.
  
• 4) Keep searching until Leda appears, then kill Leda. You can now continue the run or quit immediately. Leda will be unlocked in the character select screen.

yep, can never find him, hyper mode really doesnt help if you can completely miss him and not know it. They should give him a ed arrow once he is within a few flights

Remember that you can actually run past Leda, it happened to me and I had to go up for a while again until I finally could kill him

@Thariorn though i went down when it happened, looked everything but i didnt see it as there are always too many enemies and effects in the way especially with a character like Poppea, so i cant tell if he is there or not

Found Leda at lv 65, timing 16 min, going fast down with Krochi.
Made few runs and stoped for some tiles/screen when the music changed and cant find it.
Decided to go further down and found it after few screens away.
Think its just luck, just try some fast run and u will get it.

i went down a lot and came across a blue reaper and after him it was insanely hard, did i go too far?

@m644, after the screen gets complelty dark (meaning you only see anything in this small circle around your character) you still have to move like 3-5 map tiles (not screens) to the encounter Leda on a corridor segment with the double summoning traps.
And yeah, without Hypermode or getting an early Wings item (which hinders your dps, so, ehhh) it is very hard to actually reach Leda.
Hence them being a secret boss/character
