How to upload GIF/JPG/PNG image on Steam

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ[Update - 09/04/2022]

Hi! Created some artwork for yourself, and want to feature it on your profile. Is it a special long format? Well, you'll have difficulty uploading it unless you run some special commands and do some special things to the GIF files. This guide shows you everything you need to know to quickly upload long guides or workshop items in Steam.

1. IMAGE MODIFY DATA

- Hex editor: https://hexed.it

- Modify image data (GIF/JPEG):

1. Open this site: https://hexed.it
2. Click "Open file" and select your image you want to modify.

3. Scroll to the very bottom of the page.
4. Change the last byte of your file to 21 or 2C, like this.

(Chỉnh hex về 21 vì cập nhật mới của Steam thì kích thước bị giảm xuống và có viền, xóa sạch sau "!" Thường là 3B tức là dấu ";". Thường đổi để tránh kiểm duyệt nội dung.).

5. Click "Export" and save your modified file.

- Modify image data (PNG/APNG):

1. Open this site: https://hexed.it
2. Click "Open file" and select your image you want to modify.

3. Scroll to the very bottom of the page.
4. Copy the following sequence of bytes.

01 49 45 4E 44 00 D1 1A 4F E1

5. Select the first "00" byte tracing from the end and press Ctrl+V. Choose "Overwrite the bytes at the cursor position" and "Hexadecimal Values" options  and click the "Apply" button.
6. Click "Export" and save your modified file.

(Not show logo steam and not edit Tile,...)
