Description
If you're using this pack with Autumn Grass, load this pack ABOVE IT in your resource packs menu.

A simple texture pack that recolors all trees in the Forest biome to be orange. It also recolors saplings, and some of the Forest backgrounds too. Might've been done before, but who knows.

This pack has multiple color schemes, pictured above. If you would like to change the color scheme...

1. Go to the location on your computer where this pack is installed. If you downloaded it here from the Steam Workshop and are using Windows, you can find the Terraria workshop folder in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\105600

2. Find the folder named 2788647029.

3. Go to Content > Images and follow the instructions included in the .TXT file.

Use this pack with Autumn Grass if you want the grass to be recolored too!

While this pack is enabled, you will be unable to view any painted Forest trees--they will all appear orange to you as long as the pack is enabled. Turning the pack off again will let you see the painted trees in their proper colors again. This is something I can't fix, unfortunately, because the game is hard-coded to only recolor the tree's image if it's the default shade of green.

Try it with Brighter Skies!
And Autumn Grass, of course.

Find it on the forums here![forums.terraria.org]

Nope, only regular forest trees. Maple and sakura trees are unaffected.

Does this effect Sakura trees?

This is so good I am using this for the rest of october.
I have an idea for you that would be cool. For november it could be the trees have no leaves then a wintery pack that makes the forest ground frosty. Then spring would have blossoming trees and more flowers on the ground. Just an idea that probably makes 0 sense

in order to get the sprites from the game, you need to use a tool like TConvert [forums.terraria.org] to extract them. this guide on the terraria forums [forums.terraria.org] explains how to make a resource pack in detail.

if you want, you can also go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\105600, where you'll find the folder that workshop packs are put into, and so you can just open the files of this one and use it as a base for your own

and obviously to actually retexture the trees i just used paint.net to change their hue

Could you make the grass a bit more olive-green and dead?
