Ever wanted to smash into a bunch of barrels? Or wonder why slamming your entire body into the wall doesn't leave a mark? Well look no further, Player Tumbler will give you the power to do just that! Go ahead and smash into walls, tumble into all kinds of objects, and probably get some sorta concussion idk I'm not a doctor...

Current Features
  • Players will ragdoll after hitting walls or props
  • Players will ragdoll if they are moving too fast on the ground
  • Players will ragdoll when they run into a ledge or hit their head
  • Players drop their equipped weapon when they ragdoll or die

Planned Features
  • Hear your bones break when hitting surfaces hard enough
    This exists as a separate mod! Check out Bone Buster
  • Add different effects for when certain conditions are met while ragdolled (Darken the screen if you hit your head hard enough, K/O)
  • In-game customization options
  • Per-weapon configuration as for how PT should behave for said weapon
  • Rewrite Player Tumbler

RECENT UPDATES:
1.7
- Added support for RagMod Reworked.
- Player Tumbler will no longer receive updates for RagMod V3.
- Fixed bugs in both versions of Player Tumbler.

- Added tripping. If a player runs into something that hits their lower body they will fall over. Similar effect for when a player runs into something that hits their upper body.
- Hitting angled surfaces is much more consistent.
- Implemented proper fix for high speed prop collisions.

- Added dropping equipped weapon on ragdoll.

Some of these don't work as expected anymore due to updates.
I'm planning on fixing this when I add in-game customization options.
Console commands:
pt_enable 1/0 def: 1 Enables or disables the mod.
pt_reset Resets all ConVars to their default values.
pt_reset_values Resets all ConVars with values to their default values.
pt_auto_configure 1/0 def: 1 If enabled, will configure RagMod for Player Tumbler to work as expected.
pt_drop_weapon 1/0 def: 1 Enable dropping weapon on ragdoll.
pt_tripping 1/0 def: 1 Enable tripping.
pt_rag_force_multiplier 0 - any def: 1 Multiplies the forces applied to the ragdoll.
pt_ground_maxspeed 0 - any def: 650 Max speed the player is able to move on the ground before falling over.
pt_ground_decelerate 0 - any def: 550 How fast the player must decelerate on the ground to fall over. (Any values under 550 can cause problems with normal movement!)
pt_ground_accelerate 0 - any def: 400 How fast the player must accelerate on the ground to fall over.
pt_ground_accelerate_up 0 - any def: 100 How fast the player must accelerate upwards on the ground to fall over. (Not sure this even works)
pt_air_decelerate 0 - any def: 175 How fast the player must decelerate in the air to ragdoll. Used for determining if the player hits a wall. (Not entirely true anymore since there are other things that determine this as well)
pt_air_accelerate 0 - any def: 175 How fast the player must accelerate in the air to ragdoll.
pt_air_decelerate_ceiling 0 - any def: 300 How fast the player must decelerate when hitting a ceiling to ragdoll.
pt_air_accelerate_up 0 - any def: 100 How fast the player must accelerate upwards in the air to ragdoll.
pt_prop_hitby_ground_speed 0 - any def: 150 How fast a prop has to hit the player on the ground to make them ragdoll.
pt_prop_hitby_air_speed 0 - any def: 50 How fast a prop has to hit the player in the air to make them ragdoll.

PLAYER TUMBLER WILL NO LONGER RECEIVE UPDATES IN IT'S CURRENT STATE
The code is a big mess of spaghetti, I really don't want to mess with it anymore. Will begin working on a rewrite in the future, currently working on another project right now.

@Radical Larry i will use this version becausethe other version is not working (not ragdoll when hit a wall and not droping weapon)

alright, i did some testing on my side to work out why the hell wasn't this mod working even though everything was set up correctly and should have been working from the start.

turns out ARC9 weapons base seems to break this completely, making it so bumping against the walls at any velocity wouldn't do anything (as in vanilla). so to anyone still interested in using this, make sure to have ARC9 disabled as it is conflicting with this mod at the moment.

Losing your inventory? It's not this mod. It's the Ragmod Reworked. If you play on different gamemodes you needs to press K then go to compatibility and set it to "on spawn" or "after delay". Fixed it. Love this mod. Love you.
