General Rough Map

Simple map no flairs. Just a general cut/paste map of the current playable area. 18/July/23 (Frog/Space Trading)

General Overview

This is a cut and paste map put together with screenshots that were taken with perspective viewpoints. Long and the short of it, It's not 100% accurate and is good enough to give you an idea where points of interests are.

This is not all inclusive and is most likely going to change either by game updates or me trying to make it better/accurate... that's a pretty low bar.

14 Wrecks (including start location)

Various resource/mining locations
Cave entrances and their connections

Does not contain:

Blue chests
Chips
>75% Accuracy
The answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything.

WIP Disclaimer

As I'm currently making this, I have stumbled across what I thought was just my poor memory when in fact may actually be part of the game.

The blue chip chests and other chip containers may not actually be in the blue chests that I've been taking screenshots of and actually go into random blue chests throughout the map. More testing may need to be done... and more ship revisits... and this now no longer feels like a pet project.

Notes about the area:
Vines will grow to the top of the... hoodoos? (I'm not sure what it's called if their made by water in a canyon)
CAUTION You can climb up the vines but climbing back down will/can damage your health/food
You can pick flowers up at the top of the hoodoos.

I found a total of 5 chips within the wreck and 2 chips within the golden chests.
You'll also need 3 fusion reactors to open the other locations within the wreck

The Cake is a Lie (anniversary location)

First off, this will probably be a temporary add on until April 7th 2023
There's a high probability that this bunker will be used for future events.

Thanks for all the screenshots! I didn't have any problems with the iridium-cave vine and balcony, it now just works like a ladder you can click in either direction. But you can always follow the path at the top to the cliffs and fly down with your jetpack too :)

I can confirm that Chips are randomly generated in at least some blue chests as part of the random part of the chest. This holds true even after tree stage.

The only garanteed chips during a normal and regular playthrough are in the one-slot blue small locker box.

Thanks Martok and jaye1967 for pointing those out. Compass is now fixed.

The compass rose is for the map is no longer off to north orentation. Dev patch notes stated that the compass was fixed so that north is up the way it should be now.

Thank you for adding the updates. I know these things take a lot of work. Note that the Iridium cave has gone through a few changes and also has Pulsar crystals, Osmium, and Sulfur.

Sneaky they added a new Uranium cave near the "north" valley golden chest.
