Iridium Ore
Iridium is one of the components of Explosive Powder, a mid-to-late game Crafting resource. More importantly, it is also used to make Iridium Rods, an important item for building higher-tier Heating machines for Terra-forming. Iridium is also needed for Ore Extractors -- a highly useful Building that lets you automate collecting ore.

You can get more Iridium from Asteroids falling onto the planet once you've unlocked the Launch Platform and launched the appropriate rocket. However, you can get an infinite supply with the right kind of Ore Extractor in the proper location, saving you from having to rely on the randomness of falling rocks from the sky

Where to Find Iridium in The Planet Crafter
Here are all the places you can find Iridium in The Planet Crafter that we know of. Do note that this list does not include Storage Chests that you can find in the world; please refer to our Maps and Locations Guide for specific coordinates. Are you wondering what is this magnificent crystal that glows white and how to get Zeolite in The Planet Crafter?there is a mystery to this incredibly rare resource -- but you have to unlock it first. Lets dive deep into the abyss that is a wonderful journey.

What is Zeolite Used for in The Planet Crafter?

Zeolite is used for Crafting a handful of late-game items. Critically, it is the rarest component of the Nuclear Fusion Generator, the best Power generation unit in the game. It's also used for the DNA Manipulator, a machine that is necessary for creating Tree Seeds and vastly speeding up the process of growing your Biomass. You can not craft Zeolite the only way to get it is through progressing to the "Flora" Stage of Terraforming.
Here's an important thing also to keep in mind Zeolite in The Planet Crafter does not respawn so be careful how you spend it!

I can not find the Derelict Desert Passage Ice Cave, Boulder Desert Ice Cave or the Spike Canyon Ice Cave. The world map that I have acquired has the following areas; Going from North to South end moving West to East. Warp Gate Wreckage, Red Desert, Dead Desert, Grand Rift, Aluminium Valley, Cracked Spike, Labyrinth, Lake, The Dunes, Sulfer Valley, Sand Falls and finally the Lush Valley. I have a T2 Satellite & mapping system, but it doesn't give names of areas shown nor does it tell your where your are on the mapping very well.. So could you please explain your areas better? Thanks very much. I am in desperate need of Osmium for my T4 Drills. Thanks again!

@indypal Yea i do have issues snapping foundation grids at times. I definitely think this is something they will work on in the future.

Wherever you see those rare minerals, drop a T2 Ore Extractor, and it will mine that rare mineral (among other common ores). I set extractors for Os, Ir192, Co60, S, and late game storms drop loads of Super Alloy, Sulfur, Os, and more common minerals. Happy hunting

Thanks for the guide!

indypal, make sure you dont build Launch Platform in the starting pit. If you go higher you can build it there.

Thanks, Senpai!

Hey, is it just me or did you have any issues snapping Foundation Grids to the Launch Platform, itself? It looks like I should be able to add grids to it but they turn red and I can not place them.
