Dead Island alt-tab fix

Step 1: Go to C:\NAME\documents\DeadIslandDE\out\settings
Step 2: Open the video.scr with a text editor (You can drag the file into the empty windows text editor).
Step 3: Change "DisableDWM(1)" to "DisableDWM(0)"
Step 4: Save the file.
Optional: Make it Read-only

How and why?
When you play Dead Island in fullscreen it disables the DWM (Desktop Window Manager). This helps save some minor performance but is a huge inconvenience when you tab out, because all your other programs are unresponsive. Additionally under Win 10 and Win 11: Dead Island some times won't restart the DWM after closing the game. This means you need to restart it manually or better your whole PC. To prevent this from happening just edit the config file as described above.

@SnakeFist I second that! The skill tree walking text is annoying as hell.

Wish there was a fix foe the writing on the skills screen slowly working its way off screen.

@kiriblaze did you also set the file to read only, so dead island couldn't change it back?

if you left click and right click after tabbing out you can use other monitor and stuff like normal

hmm didnt seem to have worked but perhaps I did it wrong, is Notepad okay to use when changing the DWM variable? because when I set it 0 and tried again, Discord/2nd screen was still unresponsive when Alt Tabbed.
