About the guide
This guide is based on the Calamity Mod Wiki[calamitymod.fandom.com] and my own opinion/test results. I've tested every weapon to know which one is the easiest to use, which weapon have the highest DPS and which accessory is the most useful/powerful at the time.

Please keep in mind that this list is subjective. For me these loadouts are the easiest ways to defeat bosses. Some weapons and accesories can be changed depending on your own preferences.

This guide follows the "Boss Checklist"[forums.terraria.org] mod's progression. I've used the mod "OmniSwing"[forums.terraria.org] which makes melee and ranged weapons auto-swing/auto-fire.

Expect some grammar error's since I'm still learning english. If you find any mistake in this list please warn me about it so I can fix it.

Have fun!
Pre-Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu
NOTE: Make sure to get 15 Life Crystals before starting to fight against bosses. You can find them in Space, inside of little rock boulders called "Planetoids". Use a Gravity Potion to reach them.

King Slime
  • Weapon: Minishark

  • Armor: Wulfrum armor

  • Accessory: Shark Tooth Necklace, Hermes Boots, Rover Drive, Cloud/Blizzard/Sandstorm in a Bottle, Rusty Medallion

  • Ammo: Flash Round

Desert Scourge
  • Weapon: Minishark

  • Armor: Wulfrum armor

  • Accessory: Shark Tooth Necklace, Hermes Boots, Rover Drive, Cloud/Blizzard/Sandstorm in a Bottle, Rusty Medallion

  • Ammo: Flash Round

Eye of Cthulhu
  • Weapon: Minishark

  • Armor: Victide armor

  • Accessory: Shark Tooth Necklace, Hermes Boots, Rover Drive, Cloud/Blizzard/Sandstorm in a Bottle, Rusty Medallion

  • Ammo: Flash Round

Crabulon
  • Weapon: Minishark

  • Armor: Victide armor

  • Accessory: Shark Tooth Necklace, Hermes Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Cloud/Blizzard/Sandstorm in a Bottle, Rusty Medallion

  • Ammo: Flash Round

Eater of Worlds
  • Weapon: Minishark

  • Armor: Victide armor

  • Accessory: Shark Tooth Necklace, Hermes Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Cloud/Blizzard/Sandstorm in a Bottle, Rusty Medallion

  • Ammo: Flash Round

Brain of Cthulhu
  • Weapon: Minishark

  • Armor: Victide armor

  • Accessory: Shark Tooth Necklace, Hermes Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Cloud/Blizzard/Sandstorm in a Bottle, Rusty Medallion

  • Ammo: Flash Round

Pre-Perforators/Hive Mind
NOTE: After you break a Shadow Orb or a Crimson Heart a Goblin Invasion can occur anytime which unlocks reforging. Focus on gathering money to reforge all your weapons and accessories. Currently you have 5 accessory slots. I recommend getting 3 Menacing and 2 Warding accessory.
NOTE: The Star Cannon becomes available after defeating the Eater of World/Brain of Cthulhu. This weapon can decimate every boss in Pre-Hardmode -including the Wall of Flesh- but it's extremely costly, because it uses Stars as ammo. Building a long platform across the map is the best way to "farm" stars.

The Hive Mind
  • Weapon: Minishark

  • Armor: Victide armor

  • Accessory: Rusty Medallion, Frostspark Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Cloud/Blizzard/Sandstorm in a Bottle, Luxor's Gift

  • Ammo: Flash Round

The Perforators
  • Weapon: Minishark

  • Armor: Victide armor

  • Accessory: Rusty Medallion, Frostspark Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Cloud/Blizzard/Sandstorm in a Bottle, Luxor's Gift

  • Ammo: Flash Round

Pre-Skeletron
Queen Bee
  • Weapon: Minishark

  • Armor: Aerospec armor

  • Accessory: Rusty Medallion, Frostspark Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Cloud/Blizzard/Sandstorm in a Bottle, Luxor's Gift

  • Ammo: Flash Round

Skeletron
  • Weapon: Galeforce

  • Armor: Aerospec armor

  • Accessory: Rusty Medallion, Frostspark Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Shark Tooth Necklace, Luxor's Gift

  • Ammo: Hellfire Arrow

Pre-Wall of Flesh
The Slime God
  • Weapon: Phoenix Blaster

  • Armor: Aerospec armor

  • Accessory: Rusty Medallion, Frostspark Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Shark Tooth Necklace, Skyline Wings

  • Ammo: Superball bullets

🛈 TIP: If you are fighting against The Slime God, I highly recommend to build a giant platform across the map. But not all the way, because it can block the spawning of the Astral Biome when entering Hardmode. This platform will make this fight much easier and it will be pretty much necessary when fighting other bosses in the future. (e.g.: Calamitas, Devourer of Gods)

Wall of Flesh
  • Weapon: Phoenix Blaster

  • Armor: Statigel armor

  • Accessory: Rusty Medallion, Frostspark Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Shark Tooth Necklace, Skyline Wings

  • Ammo: Superball bullets

Pre-Mechanical Bosses
NOTE: After defeating the Wall of Flesh you can obtain the Demon Heart. This makes you have 6 accessory slots. I recommend having 3 Menacing and 3 Warding accessory, to keep some sort of balance.

Cryogen
  • Weapon: Flarewing Bow

  • Armor (old hardmode settings): Frost armor

  • Armor: (new hardmode settings): Mollusk armor

  • Accessory: Magic Quiver, Frostspark Boots, Shield of Cthulhu, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Frozen Wings

  • Ammo: Ichor Arrow

NOTE: New hardmode settings means that the "Early Hardmode Progression Rework" configuration option is activated. If you have this enabled, you are unable to get Titanium/Adamantite stuff's until you defeat the second mechanical boss.

First & second mechanical boss (new hardmode settings)
  • Weapon: Daedalus Stormbow

  • Armor: Mollusk armor

  • Accessory: Magic Quiver, Frostspark Boots, Ornate Shield, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Frozen Wings

  • Ammo: Holy Arrow

NOTE: The Calamity Mod nerfed the Daedalus Stormbow, but it's still the best weapon to fight the mechanical bosses.

First, second & third mechanical boss (old hardmode settings)
  • Weapon: Daedalus Stormbow

  • Armor: Daedalus armor

  • Accessory: Magic Quiver, Frostspark Boots, Ornate Shield, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Starlight Wings

  • Ammo: Holy Arrow

Pre-Calamitas/Plantera
NOTE: After you defeat all the mechanical bosses you are able to fight Plantera which unlocks Golem. After Golem you can fight against the Lunatic Cultist. Because these vanilla bosses aren't hard you can skip a few Calamity bosses. Then you can come back to them with much stronger Pre/Post-Lunatic Cultist items. If you aren't planning to do this I've writed down which items are the best against bosses that you can skip with this method.

Aquatic Scourge
  • Weapon: Daedalus Stormbow

  • Armor: Daedalus armor

  • Accessory: Magic Quiver, Angel Treads, Ornate Shield, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Starlight Wings

  • Ammo: Holy Arrow

Brimstone Elemental
  • Weapon: Sea's Sharing

  • Armor: Daedalus armor

  • Accessory: Ambrosial Ampoule, Angel Treads, Ornate Shield, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Starlight Wings

  • Ammo: -

Calamitas
  • Weapon: Sea's Sharing

  • Armor: Daedalus armor

  • Accessory: Ambrosial Ampoule, Angel Treads, Ornate Shield, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Starlight Wings

  • Ammo: -

🛈 TIP: The previously mentioned platform across the map becomes necessary against Calamitas. Having a Blessed Apple mount is also recommended.

Plantera
  • Weapon: Sea's Sharing

  • Armor: Daedalus armor

  • Accessory: Ambrosial Ampoule, Angel Treads, Ornate Shield, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Starlight Wings

  • Ammo: -

Pre-Golem
Leviathan and Anahita
  • Weapon: Sea's Sharing

  • Armor: Shroomite armor (Shroomite Mask)

  • Accessory: Sand Shark Tooth Necklace, Angel Treads, Asgard's Valor, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Hoverboard

  • Ammo: -

Astrum Aureus
  • Weapon: Sea's Sharing

  • Armor: Shroomite armor (Shroomite Mask)

  • Accessory: Sand Shark Tooth Necklace, Angel Treads, Asgard's Valor, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Hoverboard

  • Ammo: -

Golem
  • Weapon: Sea's Sharing

  • Armor: Shroomite armor (Shroomite Mask)

  • Accessory: Sand Shark Tooth Necklace, Angel Treads, Asgard's Valor, Ranger Emblem, Amalgamated Brain, Hoverboard

  • Ammo: -
Pre-Lunar Events
Plaguebringer Goliath
  • Weapon: Helstorm

  • Armor: Plague Reaper armor

  • Accessory: Alchemical Flask, Angel Treads, Asgard's Valor, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Steampunk Wings

  • Ammo: Hyperius Bullet

🛈 TIP: The Plague Reaper armor doesn't have a wing variant so I recommend using the Steampunk Wings. It gives you 8 defense, 10% increased movement speed, 4% increased damage and 2% critical strike chance. You can buy it from the Steampunker after Golem has been defeated.

Duke Fishron
  • Weapon: Helstorm

  • Armor: Plague Reaper armor

  • Accessory: Alchemical Flask, Angel Treads, Asgard's Valor, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Steampunk Wings

  • Ammo: Hyperius Bullet

Ravager
  • Weapon: Helstorm

  • Armor: Plague Reaper armor

  • Accessory: Alchemical Flask, Angel Treads, Asgard's Valor, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Steampunk Wings

  • Ammo: Hyperius Bullet

Lunatic Cultist
  • Weapon: Helstorm

  • Armor: Plague Reaper armor

  • Accessory: Alchemical Flask, Angel Treads, Asgard's Valor, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Steampunk Wings

  • Ammo: Hyperius Bullet

Pre-Moon Lord
Astrum Deus
  • Weapon: Charged Dart Blaster

  • Armor: Plague Reaper armor

  • Accessory: Plague Hive, Angel Treads, Asgard's Valor, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Steampunk Wings

  • Ammo: Crystal Dart

Moon Lord
  • Weapon: Vortexpopper

  • Armor: Plague Reaper armor

  • Accessory: Plague Hive, Angel Treads, Asgard's Valor, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Steampunk Wings

  • Ammo: Chlorophyte Bullet

Pre-Providence
NOTE: From the Moon Lord's Treasure Bag you can obtain the Celestial Onion. With this item you will have 7 accessory slots. Ranger armors are the second strongest armors in terms of defense. This is why I recommend having 4 Menacing and 3 Warding accessory.

Profaned Guardians
  • Weapon: Planetary Annihilation

  • Armor: Vortex armor

  • Accessory: The Absorber, Seraph Tracers, Asgard's Valor, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Sniper Scope, Magic Quiver

  • Ammo: Wooden Arrow

Dragonfolly
  • Weapon: Planetary Annihilation

  • Armor: Vortex armor

  • Accessory: The Absorber, Seraph Tracers, Asgard's Valor, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Sniper Scope, Magic Quiver

  • Ammo: Wooden Arrow

Providence, the Profaned Goddess
  • Weapon: Elemental Eruption

  • Armor: Vortex armor

  • Accessory: The Absorber, Seraph Tracers, Asgard's Valor, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Sniper Scope, The Community

  • Ammo: Gel

🛈 TIP: Defeating Providence in both Hallow and Underground is recommended, becase the drops from both biome is pretty neat. Don't forget to bring the Rod of Discord if you are fighting it in the Hallow biome. In the Hallow Biome it will shoot out a thing called "Holy Ray". The ray sweeps across the area and deals massive damage.

Pre-Polterghast
Ceaseless Void
  • Weapon: Starfleet (against Dark Energies)

  • Weapon: Elemental Blaster (when the boss is vulnerable)

  • Armor: Tarragon armor

  • Accessory: The Absorber, Seraph Tracers, Elysian Aegis, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Sniper Scope, The Community

  • Ammo: Star

🛈 TIP: Build a huge room in the dungeon to fight the Ceaseless Void. It will become handy later against the Polterghast.

Storm Weaver
  • Weapon: Blissful Bombardier

  • Armor: Tarragon armor

  • Accessory: The Absorber, Seraph Tracers, Elysian Aegis, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Sniper Scope, The Community

  • Ammo: Rocket III

Signus, Envoy of the Devourer
  • Weapon: Pristine Fury

  • Armor: Tarragon armor

  • Accessory: The Absorber, Seraph Tracers, Elysian Aegis, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Sniper Scope, The Community

  • Ammo: Gel

Polterghast
  • Weapon: Seadragon

  • Armor: Tarragon armor

  • Accessory: The Absorber, Seraph Tracers, Elysian Aegis, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Sniper Scope, The Community

  • Ammo: Bloodfire Bullet

Pre-Devourer of Gods
The Old duke
  • Weapon: Seadragon

  • Armor: Bloodflare armor

  • Accessory: The Absorber, Seraph Tracers, Elysian Aegis, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Sniper Scope, The Community

  • Ammo: Bloodfire Bullet

The Devourer of Gods
  • Weapon: Sulphuric Acid Cannon (against the Devourer of Gods)

  • Weapon: Halley's Inferno (against the Cosmic Guardians)

  • Armor: Bloodflare armor

  • Accessory: The Absorber, Seraph Tracers, Elysian Aegis, Artemis Emblem, Void of Extinction, Sniper Scope, The Community

  • Ammo: Gel

🛈 TIP: Make sure to shot the Devourer of Gods' body too, because the Sulphuric Acid Cannon deals pretty good damage to it.

Pre-Yharon
Yharon
  • Weapon: Alluvion

  • Armor: God Slayer armor

  • Accessory: The Sponge, Elysian Tracers, Asgardian Aegis, Elemental Quiver, Core of the Blood God, Rampart of Deities, The Community

  • Ammo: Wooden arrow

🛈 TIP: The Slimy Saddle is a really great mount when you are fighting against Yharon. Falling fast throughout the fight is incredibly important and useful.

Pre-Exo Mechs/Supreme Calamitas
Exo Mechs
  • Weapon: Minigun

  • Armor: Auric Tesla armor

  • Accessory: The Sponge, Celestial Tracers, Asgardian Aegis, Elemental Quiver, Core of the Blood God, Rampart of Deities, The Community

  • Ammo: God Slayer Slug

Supreme Calamitas
  • Weapon: Photoviscerator

  • Armor: Auric Tesla armor

  • Accessory: The Sponge, Celestial Tracers, Asgardian Aegis, Elemental Quiver, Core of the Blood God, Rampart of Deities, The Community

  • Ammo: Gel

  • Accessory: The Sponge, Celestial Tracers, Asgardian Aegis, Elemental Quiver, Core of the Blood God, Rampart of Deities, Nebulous Core

  • Ammo: Gel

Final words
Thank you for reading my guide! It took me almost 2 weeks to make because of lack of motivation. I've learned more about Steam Guides and how to make your guide more attractive, so I've added pictures of every weapon, armor or accessory. I think it looks super cool. I've updated my Melee Guide the same way. At the end of making the guide my motivation came back and I'm super hyped about continuing this project. My next class is going to be the Summoner!

If you have any suggestions about the loadouts please leave a comment.

Thank you again, and good luck!

@Ka'Jin Not sure, guess he made a mistake there.

@notitle It is deadshot brooch. This was made pre 1.4 so there may be some changes from 1.4. It still works in 1.4.4 though.
Dante Sep 15, 2023 @ 7:12pm
@AxellOv The Daedalus Stormbow is obtained from Hallowed Mimics with a 25% chance. Hallowed Mimics can spawn naturally in the Underground Hallow or spawned by putting a Key of Light (crafted with 15 souls of light at a hardmode anvil) in a chest in any area.
