Zacns wagon

ZACNS - The wagon intended for transportation of Calcium carbonate also chemicly know as CaCO3 slurry.
Wagon tank is made of cold rolled stainless steel with 8° bottom slope leading to centrally placed discharge system. Due to this it is also know in the german speaking part of the world as the Knickkesselwagen.
Tank is insulated with mineral wool and covered with prepainted anodized steel plates.
Cargo is loaded from above through one DN 500 opening with manually operated cover on the upper center part of wagon body.
The tank is also equipped with two DN 300 cleaning openings placed symmetrically to the central transversal vertical plane.
Unloading can be performed by gravity, compressed air or pumps through bottom discharge pipe. Possibility of unloading on both sides of the wagon.
Made in Slavonski Brod, Croatia by Đuro Đaković Specijalna Vozila, know also as ĐĐ.
One of them was displayed at Innotrans 2016 in Berlin. It wears the Atir Rail and ĐĐ branding.
Another one only wears the ĐĐ branding and the third one is blank. All of them are owned/registered by Atir Rail that rents them to other companys.
In Croatia they can be seen from Gospič where they are loaded, after that they go across Europe to Austria, Germany and beyond.
