KBV 181 Surveillance Vessel

Description:

KBV 181 is one of the Coast Guard's surveillance vessels. The ship was delivered in 1990 from Rauma-Repola Shipyard in Rauma, Finland, and is an extended and slightly modified version of the Ursus and Tursas of the Finnish Border Guard.

KBV 181 is mainly used for sea patrols. In addition to monitoring activities, the vessel can also be used as an environmental protection vessel and as a research vessel for umeå marine research centre.

Startup:

My design philosophy is that all my creations should be easy to start and control, with that said just man the helm, hit the key ignition and throttle to max power.
