Back when I added that feature, there wasn't an artifact with the same modifier appearing twice. (Or at least I thought so)
when an artifact has more than one modifiers of the same type, for example: artifact_health_gain_2_modifier(+0.15health) and artifact_health_gain_3_modifier(+0.2health) ,together it provides 0.35 health
But when upgraded, they will all be removed and get a artifact_health_gain_4_modifier(+0.25 health), which is less than the original modifier(0.35)
Some historical artifacts do not merge when upgrading artifacts.
An Excalibur without a gold rim will function normally.
But the statue of Constantine without the gold rim doesn't work.
The Statue of Constantine is also a historical artifact, but I'm curious about its differences from Excalibur.
The latest DLC adds a lot of historical artifacts without gold rims, I wonder if these will be merged as well.
either way, I really like this mod as is, so thank you!
