Manic's Indian Portraits

Welcome to Manic's Indian Portraits - This mod alters the faces of cultures that use the (North) Indian and South Indian faces, beautifying them a bit. I don't know about you, but I'd actually consider playing in India now!

The faces themselves were rather tricky to design. There are very few non-European/Near Eastern assets to work with so I had to get pretty creative. What you see is a carefully-crafted abomination amalgamation of recoloured textures from the Frankish, Roman/Italian, Muslim and West Slavic faces which (I think) work pretty well together.

Hairstyles, clothing and beards have been untouched. Some hairstyles and beards are slightly misaligned with the new faces but I will update them as soon as I've had the chance to fiddle around with them.

Of course, this mod adds new child portraits for both of the affected graphical cultures. Aside from the (North) Indian boy, who uses a new and recoloured outfit, all other children still use their vanilla clothes. These designs have been modified slightly and sharpened so as to not look out of place alongside the newer portraits.

This mod has a very simple file structure and doesn't edit any core game files. As such, it should be compatible with virtually any other mod that doesn't also alter Indian or South Indian portraits.

This mod should be fully Ironman and savegame compatible.

For those who experience issues with the Steam Workshop and want some alternate download options, a .zip version of this mod can be downloaded HERE[www.dropbox.com].

To install, simply remove the two items from the .zip folder and place them in your CK2 mod folder.

If you want to use all of my portrait mods but hate all the clutter in your launcher, I recommend using Manic's Portraits instead.
