Skiver's Bane

Plague Doctor : Blinding gas, battlefield medicine, Disorienting Blast, plague grenade

Trinkets : Blasphemous Vial and Speed (prophet eyes, Baron's Lash, Mildred's Locket...).
Blasphemous vial is an auto pick for any Plague Doctor, +Acc and +Stun chance make blinding gas so reliable; meanwhile the speed allows Plague doctor to stun backline before they act and to quickly heal people.

Bounty Hunter : Finish Him, Collect Bounty, Come Hitter, Caltrops

Trinkets : Mask of the timeless and Hunter's Talons (alternatively focus ring).
Hunter's Talons is one of the best acc trinket in the game, there is nearly no downside to it (you can unequip it during hunger check/before camping). Bounty hunter will appreciate the speed to finish off enemies before they act, preventing dmg and stress; the extra survivability of dodge is greatly appreciated as well.

Bounty Hunter : Finish Him, Collect Bounty, Mark for Death, Caltrops

Trinkets : Ancestral Candle and Hunter's Talons (alternatively focus ring).Same reasoning as the other Bounty Hunter

Flagellant : Punish, Rain Of sorrow, reclaim, redeem/endure

Trinkets : Flesh heart (alternatively Fortifying Garlic) and focus ring or Tempting Goblet.
The bleed resist will allow flagellant to resist the bleed from Reclaim (160% chance to bleed at max level), while the +hp allow him to be in safer condition to use Redeem. Focus Ring is nice because Acc is always appreciated and the crit can help flagellant stay at low stress, but since his skills have 115 acc at max level you can afford to take +speed instead. This way rain of sorrow bleed can proc turn 1.
Explication
The pairing Flagellant/Plague Doctor is extremely strong. You open fights with blinding gas into rain of sorrow, next turn you get to use plague grenade and maybe even rain of sorrow again. The average backline will be either dead or heavily injured without having acted once. This backline control allows both Bounty Hunter to not run flashbang, this is a bit unorthodox since this is by far one of his strongest move. Instead you get those 2 units which can either caltrops the backline to help kill rank 4, use finish him on rank 3 or can mark for each other to burst a dangerous frontliner. Flagellant like said before helps with killing the backline but that's not it, he also handles healing thanks to reclaim (one of the best heal in the game), and can deal with sudden burst of heal thanks to redeem. However this often only the case in room battle, this is why I encourage you to swap Redeem for Endure mid dungeons for hallway fights. Don't worry about Flagellant stress, at camp thanks to Lash's Solace he can self stress heal for 50, making this an effective way to stress heal your team.

You could swap the rank 2 bounty hunter for a HoundMaster which is also a great marking partener for Bounty Hunter, in addition in this team Hound's Harry could see some nice value.

Strengths :
  • Very good at handling backline
  • Extremely good healing options, with DoT cure
  • Good stress heal
  • Pretty tanky composition
  • Able to burst a target
  • Can cure diseases

Weak points :
  • Bleed reliant
  • Can't prevent nighttime ambush

Quick tip : in general if your team can't prevent nighttime ambush be sure to pre shuffle them before camping.

Which areas to bring them ?

This team is very effective in warrens, it's combo to kill the backliner is consistent there, but also it completely shuts down skivers which are one of the biggest threat in the game. If you encounter one open with the classic Blinding gas and rain of sorrow. Then use caltrops on them, before using come hitter. This result in a marked target, with +dmg taken being in range for collect bounty; the -speed debuff will guarantee that skiver will act after your two bounty hunters next turn, meaning its dead before he could have use "Cripple Them" or "Spit to Roast".

This comp should also be rather effective for Courtyard if you swap come hitter of the rank 3 Bounty Hunter for his mark. Give Plague Doctor Dazzling Mirror and she is now able to stunlock enemies. Courtesan may even mark monsters for you. Caltrops are also a great tool against chevaliers. Tho personally I would advise just swapping the front Bounty Hunter for Houndmaster, this way you get to be able to attack Rank 4 chevaliers directly and you would be able to prevent nighttime ambush.
