Mod.io - Introduction
TABS is using https://Mod.io as workshop platform (so it's not the Steam workshop). For Steam players, an account on Mod.io will automatically be created at some point (probably when you upload one of your own units/battles/campain to the Workshop, I guess).

You can find your Mod.io account profile by starting up TABS and going to Main Menü > Workshop. Then click on the Mod.io button in the lower right corner:

To download from the Mod.io workshop you have nothing more to do, than to search for mods in the game via the ingame workshop (Main menu > Workshop) and subscribe to them. Then you will see them under Main Menu > Custom Content. If necessary you have to start the game modded with Thunderstore or r2modman, because some mods from Mod.io also need BepInEx or UCM to work.
Connect Steam Account to Mod.io
For various reason, you might want to connect your Steam Account to Mod.io. If you are on the Mod.io website in the browser and from there you want to be able to click on the "Subscribe" button to install mods, you have to link your automatically generated Mod.io account with your Steam account. (So don't go and create a Mod.io account yourself, using the register option on the website, It won't work.)

This is how to do it:

  • Start TABS game
  • go to "Workshop" in the main menu
  • press SHIFT+TAB key combination to get into Steam ingame menu
  • click on "Webbrowser" in the bottom menü (see image)
  • go to the website "Mod.io"
  • click on the "Login" button in the upper right corner of the website

  • Then click on "Login via Steam

  • Then click on "Log in"

  • You can tell that it worked correctly, if on the mod.io-website, it shows your Steam account name and avatar image in the top right corner of Mod.io (see image)

  • You will then be asked to verify your email address. This is necessary to use all the features of Mod.io (create mods and guides, etc..., see image).

  • That's it, your done. Enjoy.
