Hogtie the Hackers: an RDO PSA

This guide might help you overcome hackers in many situations

The Gist of it

I just wanted to share the fact that of about 70% of the invincible pissworth nerds that are using hacks in RDO matches and elsewhere, you can probably tackle them and hogtie them, leaving them helpless for a little while. In some rare situations where you have a horse you can even drag them with the lasso so long as they aren't using any hacks to to kill you from doing so, although most hackers have hacks that leave them immune to ragdoll effects such as explosions as well as being dragged.

This works good in series matches such as Railroad Baron as i literally threw the dude off the train as he was cussing me out in a language i cant specify for specific reasons, though I do have a short clip of it. It's definitely not a permanent fix or anything considering they'll probably come back for more, often times using more hacks that let them bypass this through teleportation hacks, but its still fun to find some way to give those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scumsuckers what they deserve.

Many hackers are the overland teleporting ruining-your-day-continually-killing-you type of hackers, but in my experience, you can hogtie them and run before they can hack or wiggle their way out, so run behind a tree and relog cause they're gonna be mighty angry with ye afterwards

From my personal experience, most Hackers don't typically have hacks that let them instantly get back on their feet after being hogtied, so they're forced to wiggle like a helpless rat on the floor, or (also from my experience) they try to spawn bears to kill you cause they're too helpless to do it themselves. (Side note, don't go rampantly skinning their legendary bear spawns, you'll probably get banned by the system)
All these godly powers and their biggest weakness was a rope.

They may have hacks on their side, but you have something they'll never have: Brains.

(and almost always a stupid temper)

Note that not all Hackers are vulnerable to this method, but it's worth a shot
-Some of them have ragdoll immunity hacks, but many of them don't

Red Dead online is not dead, Help your cowboy buddies out and lets all do our part to drive out at least some of these lowlife pests from the frontier, or atleast show we care about it!

I've seen a bunch of hackers but I'm lucky to have only met ones that are chill, just running around as wildlife or just transforming Valentine into a a Christmas wonderland in the middle of summer for some reason. Only issues I've ever had with the player base is the griefers that moved from GTA and treat everyone like s**t

I miss playing the online because of those guys. Definitely ruins the experience. I actually bought the game for my sister on here too so we could play together. She got so frustrated by all of the hackers she hasn't touched it in over a year.
