Welcome!
This guide will not go in-depth with values, stats or nerdy stuff but rather show you what you need to know to grow weed in DDS the right way!

The guide will include:
-Best seeds to use
-Best locations to plant in
-Recommendations (how to take care of the plants)
Best Seeds
If you're considering making a lot of easy side money and a lot of weed, you're going Outdoors.

-Best Outdoor seed is Skyscrapper seed. Gives a max harvest of 420g wet weed, drying/crystalising loss is 50%
-Best indoor seed is (debatable) Firecracker seed. Gives a max harvest of 300g wet weed, drying/crystalising loss is 60%

You can find more info on all seeds here: https://drugdealersimulator.wiki/Weed_growing_guide

But for now, grab as many sky scrapper seeds and keep scrolling.
Where to Grow
There are 3 total best locations for you to choose from, depending on where you work in & which sector you play in the most!

Here is the Locations Map
Sector A Spots
Arguably the best area to plant a relatively big camp in is the Government docks area, just south of west old town.
This area allows you to quickly check on your plants without much travel between areas since it's close to everything.

Stink is a very close second and a favorite to some players, very convenient area to plant a decent sized farm, and the fact that it's right behing the Triple Garages makes growing weed very easy and straight forward, just plant a big farm behind the buildings, harvest then dry the wet weed in the 3 garages 10 steps away. Selling excess weed is also super convenient due to having the psychedelics gang next block.

Sector B Spots
Only and best spot in sector B is undoubtedly the desert-to-bad asia.. areas.
The HUGE planting slot stretches from the desert area all the way to the east wall.
If you're considering having a massive farm here, make sure to start planting on the left side far enough from the toad which cops patrol sometimes, look for the C shaped rock formation and plant from that point.
When you reach bad asia, don't drop south too close to the cemetey because cops do go through the alley way around the graveyard so keep that in mind and keep a distance.

Bad Asia
Sector C Spots
Sector C is not ideal for having your next weed farm, outdoors.
One of the spots that could possibly work out is the construction site area right at the left of the main tunnel entrance. I didn't test this spot yet but will update this section once I do. If it works, it's convenient if you play around sector C very often as it's right behind the starter free hideout.

Update: This spot has been deemed unsafe and will result in police detecting the plants, do not use this area.

Another spot that could work is the factory grounds. Since those areas are NOT patrolled by cops (unless you bring them there or trigger a camera) the areas should be clear of any cops, which means peaceful weed farms.

Just make sure you plant far enough away from any road or possible cop path.
How weed growing works (in-depth)
You buy seeds from Barney Roman (shadycomm contact, lvl 15+) which meets you during the day at east deadtown in sector B. Offers you 4 indoor and 4 outdoor seeds with different stats and prices (cash only)
Seeds are not considered illegal by cops by the way.

You then take those seeds with you to your preferred planting spot, look where you'd like to plant, hold F and watch it appear. Finish planting all your seeds, then let them sit in the sunlight. After a while (usually a day) you should go back to check on the plants and see if they're dehydrated and need watering. If so, bring a few water bottles, press F and click to water them. If your bottles run out of water, go to a hideout or garage (or main apartment) whatever has a Sink, then refill the bottles to water more plants.

Keep taking care of your plants (keep health at max and keep hydration over half at all times for the biggest yield) until they fully grow. Proceed to harvest the plants and remove them by pressing F and clicking twice. Your receive some Wet Weed depending on the seed used and the health of the plant. Harvested plants no longer provide anymore product and aren't useful anylonger.

Take the wet weed to your hideout or lab, then use a small or lab drier to dry the wet weed and be able to use it to sell to clients as well as sell your excess weed in bulk to the psychedelics gang for a decent side income.

If you want more weed later or want to keep the side income, keep growing more weed.

Weed plants outdoors will disappear if a cop gets too near. Keep plants out of sight and far away from roads.
Weed plants emit a Smell that gets stronger progressively overtime as your plants grow. This is why your plants (if planted in the wrong spot) only gets found by a cop at around 60% growth, that's usually when the smell radius starts getting large enough to cover the nearby road that cops go through.
The smell radius isn't really a smell or sight factor, think of it as a sphere that's located on your plant that gets bigger as it grows and if a cop collides with said sphere hitbox will remove your plant and send you a red notification.
Indoor plants don't use this mechanic.

When it comes to indoor seeds, you'll need pots to plant them in, UV lights and enough air filters to avoid the strong smell from atteacting the DEA's attention and possibly cause a raid.
The more plants you grow, the more pots you'll need (which requires a lot of space) and more minimum air filters required to avoid a raid. Having not enough filters installed or none at all will increase your exposition factor progressively until you meet the requirement. Having few UV lights will impact your plants final yield. Letting them dehydrate will cause them to die, which gives no yield. Plants will raise your minimum air filter requirement as the grow, the stronger the emitted smell, the more filters required.
You can place UV lights strategically to provide enough light from the fewest lights possible by covering the most space with a light placed in the middle of the space, you can cover 9 plants by placing a light in the dead center (or at least I think) if not, just place a few in front and back of the plants.

I'm using the Stink garage that's $380. 6 seeds planted no issue, need to buy 6 more. It's close to where I have my outdoors growing, why I went there.
