Not Tonight 2: A MapO Guide
By Cascade_Failure
Hello everyone! This is my first ever guide I've ever even thought about throwing up on Steam, but I figured it couldn't hurt to offer help for all those enjoying this game who need a little guidance in hunting down those pesky MapO missions. While many of the missions can be figured out just by the hint name alone, this is for those of us who need something a little more obvious

If you're needing help in regards to a more deliberate walkthrough or achivements, be sure to check out https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2752105278 ! They've done a great job of exploring every last nook and cranny this game has to offer

Roadtrip A - Kevin
Stop #1 - Montana
'Cute and Warm' - When first arriving in Montana on the first day tell the man you meet that you're American, he'll give you a Varmint Hat. OR, earn your second bonus during your first night.

'Pou-teen' - During the second night allow the teen you met just before your shift into the club while making sure not to mess up his pouteen order.

'Mr Jorge' - During your conversation with the teen mentioned above after your first shift, when he asks who you're looking for be sure to pick the correct name 'Jorge Suarez'

Stop #2 - New Camelot
'Perfect knights' - Nice and simple, just earn your second bonus on BOTH nights

'One shall pass' - During your first shift allow Joe the Mage into the club.

'Wizard?' - When first arriving in New Camelot you will meet Joe. When prompted be sure to click 'Mage' and address him as his proper title

Stop #3 - Chicago
'None shall pass' - Also pretty simple. Just make sure no one without a mask is allowed past.

'Fess up' - Just after your first shift you'll have a few words with Auntie. Fess up and tell her about Jorge and his plans

'Mask nicely' - Before you start exploring Chicago on the first day be sure to wear a mask the entire time and keep it on during your shift until you leave

Stop #4 - Detroit
'Minor Incident' - I've read that you must not allow in a single sick person on both nights, or that you pass both nights without being making enough mistakes to take a fine. At this point in the game you should be smart enough to be able to get this one pretty easily so long as you're vigilant about the sick people.

'Funk-Mastered' - Allow Funk Master Dave into the club

'Da doo Ron-Ron' - Across both days in Detroit, take every opportunity to crack a joke while talking to Ron. There should be three of these in total

Stop #5 - NYC
'Perfect Notes' - Like New Camelot, you're wanting to earn your second bonus on BOTH nights

'100% Proof' - When infiltrating the black market deal you will have to provide certain items from your bag as proof that you're Jorge. These items in order are 'Jorge's BouncR ID' (Not your own!), 'Jorge's Dirty Mask', and 'Jorge's Trader card'

'Cone head' - When infiltrating the black market deal as mentioned above be sure to wear the cone hat Dave gives you. Going to the meeting without will get you kicked out, and although you return, you will not earn the challenge for getting in the second time

Stop #6 - DC
'Guest listed' - During the second night when you have a guestlist make sure to earn the guestlist bonus for letting people in. Incredibly easy.

'Alarmed' - When going in to steal the Declaration of Independence you cannot raise a single alarm. While the game tells you a very specific website link where you can find the answers in order to get through, you're not here to dig for answers. First, Dress as a janitor and go around the back, secondly the password is Valley Forge, When leaving, Hide inside the gift shop and lastly...

'Self Declare' - As the last part of the heist and apart of 'Alarmed', pick the duplicate Declaration of Independance which starts "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..."
Roadtrip B - Malik
Stop #1 - San Fran
'Fine. No Fine.' - Easy peasy. Just work both shifts here without incurring a fine for letting too many wrong people in.

'Help out Uncle Terry' - Literally cannot get any more obvious. During Night 2 let Uncle Terry into the club. For the purposes of 'Fine. No fine' be warned he will count as a wrongful entry.

'Get the family tree ASAP' - During your first day you'll go to the Data center to get the family tree. First offer Terry's ID, and when asked for a code number enter 1276. After your second shift you will return to collect the info. When asked for the country Eduardos country of birth answer America. Rather that go away and await another 24 hours hit the button to go back to the menu, and then answer Seattle

Stop #2 - Las Vegas
'Dress smart for work' - First thing you should do when arrive in this dry city is equip the fancy suit that Terry gave you and keep it on through both your shifts

'Do the right thing' - During your second night let in Anthony Jones/AJ

'Make Sean's Day' - I can't remember an actual option that specifically lead me to compliment Sean Shawn Shaun after the second day. Will have to replay but this may be an unavoidable mission completion

Important Note for 'Min-Max': After leaving Las Vegas make sure to pick up the hitchhiker for a later MapO mission.

Stop #3 - Salt Lake City
'Perfect Protestant' - Earn your second bonus specifically during your second shift.

'Stop all devils' (Also earns you the related achievement) - This one is as clear cut as it sounds. In your first/second? shift, don't let in a single devil

'Hit peak religion' (Also earns you the related achievement) - You require 5 religion points in order to get the churches help finding Angel, however you require a total of 8 in order to achieve this mission so you CANNOT miss an opportunity to gain religion points. While there are plenty of chances to get over 5 points, if you miss one you may have to restart a day
You MUST perform all these actions:
  • pay $50 for the prayer subscription when you first arrive
  • Don't lett the devil in during your shifts (both nights)
  • Earning your second bonus during your shifts (both nights)
  • Complete the guestlist bonus on your second night
  • Playing soccer in the park after your first shift while exploring
  • Donate $10 to the free service after your first shift while exploring

Stop #4 - Denver
Important note for Min-Max! Do NOT let Sean Shawn Shaun into the building during either of your shifts for a MapO mission down the line.
'Fine! No fines!' - If you're good at this game, this won't be an issue. Just don't get fined for wrongful entries on both shifts

'Sweet Talker' - Be the messenger for Pearl and Alo. When meeting Pearl for the first time tell her "Alo says hello", when you talk to Alo again tell him "He's a fool and a sweetheart". After your second shift tell Pearl before you leave "She's fools gold."

'Sell Sell Sell' - After your second shift sell Kevins car to Alo. What a friend.

Stop #5 - Kansas
We have no need of missions here. Only transcendence.

Stop #6 - Louisville
'Fried Chicken' - Make sure that over both days no chickens manage to escape. When one starts flying towards the edge of the screen, hit the button to fry them

'Stop chief!' - On both days the Chief- uh.. giant chicken will try and talk their way in. DENY him both times

'Work wonder' - When you first arrive in Louisville recommend to Anger that she find work as a 'waitress'. Simple as that.

Stop 7 - Raleigh
'Bonus 2 Battler' - As clear cut as it sounds. Just earn your second bonus during both nights.

'Min-Max' - Annoying on your second shift your battle stats are entirely determined for your previous choices. For this mission you must get your stats as high as you can. If you're wanting to do the Devil in Disguise achievement you will want to do the OPPOSITE of these. Some of these options are tied to previous MapO missions but a couple are tied to smaller moral choices. These include
  • Allow AJ into the club in Las Vegas +1
  • Pick up the hitchhiker after leaving Las Vegas +1
  • Play soccer with the kids in Salt Lake City +1
  • Deny Sean Shawn Shaun entry on both nights in Denver to prevent him from buying a fake deed +1
  • Prevent the chief from entry during both shifts at Louisville +1
'Ascender' - After your first shift you will have the choice of playing a VR experience. Pick the one named 'Ascenders'.
Roadtrip C - Mari
Stop #1 - LA
'VIP handler' - Achieve the guestlist bonus on your second night. Easy Peasy.

'Robert-no?' - Allow Robert into the club on your shift night. Noticing a pattern yet?

'Habla espanol?' - Either brush up on your Spanish, or after your first shift when speaking with Ana reply with "No thank you, I'm not hungry.", and "Extra Mayo."

Stop #2 - The Wall
'Perfect Guest' - On night 2 hit the guestlist goal of six people. May be to work a little for this one

'Salsa-smuggler' - Dave makes an appearance on your second shift, and you know what that means? We're letting him through for another mission!

'Sophisticated' - At the start of your second day before your shift you'll talk to Dave. Mention to him "You could fit a sophisticated surveillance device in there."

Stop #3 - San Antonio
'Robot-cop' - This is either very forgiving or potentially bugged. The game says you in atleast one level stop all Cowboy Robots, however I received completion for this after telling Sebastion about the cop even though a single robot got lucky on the first night and got inside.

'Sure Shaun' - Unlike what you did in Denver, DO let Sean Shawn Shaun inside on your second night

'Who needs Sat-Nav?' - If you allow Sean in during your second night he will give you instructions before you leave on how to avoid the cops. Follow these instructions in order to achieve this mission. They are as follows:
  • "I took the I-36 North, the long route of town."
  • "I turned onto the I-42 South."
  • "Then merged onto the I-10 to Mississippi."

Stop #4 - Goaters Gas
'Cop out' - As the name implies on your second night do NOT let Billie Bob into the place.

'Solved!' - This is a complex one to explain, but not hard to do. Firstly and most importantly do NOT let Billie Bob into the building on your second night. You will interview all three suspects once each over the two days. For each suspect make sure to respond with the following:
- Billie Bob
  • "Hello, sir. I'm Mary."
  • "This job is too hard for a poor little lady like myself."
- Sal
  • "Do you recognize this hook?"
- Evil Jed
  • "Why do they call you Evil Jed?"
At the end when you're asked who the murderer is repond with: "Billy Bob. Obviously."

'Hook, line, sinked' - When interviewing Sal make sure to ask her "Do you recognize this hook?". Simple!

Stop #5 - Orlando
'Savior' - During your second shift, make absolute sure to hand out the fake ticket with anyone who is allowed in.

'Ken?' - After your first shift you will explore around the park. See through their disguise and respond with "Okay, yeah, sure... Kenya?" to the person handing out free tickets who is totally not Kenya.

'Points mean prizes' - This requires you to have atleast 10 Martyr points BEFORE arriving in Orlando. If you are following this guide closely you should have them as most of them are tied to general job completion, MapO missions, performing well on your shifts, and responding in the correct manner when you encounter Martyr agents in line during jobs 2-4. Missing this is hard, but not impossible if you're making lots of mistakes.

For "make Sean's Day" - Malik tells Sean "Nice Singing" on his own. There are no dialogue options for you to choose.

"'Ken?' - After your first shift you will explore around the park. See through their disguise and respond with "Okay, yeah, sure... Kenya?" to the person handing out free tickets who is totally not Kenya." Not only that, you have to correctly answer that the fake tickets have a spelling mistake

I have found out the condition for Detroit's "Minor Incident". It basiscally refers to how many times Ron pointed out your mistakes (if you reach the fine penalty you cannot do this quest)

@Aniyha, Thanks for pointing that out, and you're very welcome!

Hi, and thank you for the guide! Just one thing I noticed: On "'None shall pass' - Also pretty simple. Just make sure no one with a mask is allowed past," the 'with' should be a 'without'.

@rinsoo I would honestly greatly appreciate that. I'm glad someone is posting a 100% guide before I would have had to get around to it, and I love what you've done with it!

Hi! Love how detailed your guide is :D I just uploaded my guide for 100% achievements, but thought it would be a bit unfair to keep my 'MapO guide' section up with yours published first (and esp that these are both our first guides ever on steam.. woohoo to us!!)

I'm down to substitute my part with a link to your guide once you're finished? Let me know what you think :p4g_love:
