Wildlife - Ash Plume Rock Drake
Description
Tameable: Tranq
Diet: Carnivore
Preferred Kibble: None
Preferred Food: Wyvern Eggs
Temperament: Aggressive
Habitat: Aberration, Sunken Forest, Volcanic Regions, Redwoods
Spawncode:Rockdrake_Character_BP_ashen _C
A species of Rock Drake that evolved when Rock Drakes were first introduced to the Pyrian Arks. Those that lived in wyvern-heavy environments: specifically, the volcanic region, faced heavy competition with other draconids, unlike their relatives in the redwoods. In their fight for survival, these individuals somehow managed to unlock powerful affinity for the mysterious Dragon Element. The species slowly developed darker colors due to this, and thanks to this adaptation and their primary region, were named Ash Plume Rock Drakes. Ash Plumes are resistant to many forms of elemental damage, but exceedingly weak to Light Mana, Dark Mana, and Dragon energies. While not as "easy" to use as the powerful Stygian Drachenthorne due to the wyvern's flight, Ash Plumes are superior to standardized Rock Drakes in every way. They are able to remain invisible longer, deal more damage, and can glide for longer. Most crucially is their powerful Dragon element slashes, which let them deal great DPS on other draconic entities. It's due to this adaptation they became wyvern hunters, raiding wyvern nests for younglings and eggs alike.

A strange, but powerful variation of wyvern. Unlike all its other family members, the Brute Wyvern is no master of the sky. As a matter of fact, it is a completely terrestrial wyvern. Wildlife - Dagon
Description
Tameable: Tranq
Diet: Herbivore
Preferred Kibble: Superior
Preferred Food: Base Veggie, Mejoberry
Temperament: Docile
Habitat: Grasslands, Green Desert, Wasteland, Desert Biodome, Fertile Chamber, Sunken Forest
Entity ID: Dagon_Character_bp_C
Dagon is a fearsome-looking monster. This rough exterior is misleading, as Dagon is actually a simple herbivore that is a gentle giant. A gentle giant adapted a terrestrial lifestyle, Dagon's wings are no longer capable of lifting its extremely heavy, armored body into the air; or even helping it “glide” or “soften” its falls. Although a gentle giant, that does not make it a pushover. Dagon is an apex herbivore few carnivores would tackle. In addition to its thick armor and great strength, its attacks are incredibly vicious, making it fully capable of levelling basically any threat that encroaches it. It is a go-to combat herbivore for any in Pyria.

Abilities
  • Saddle y/n <?>

Divine Allos have different special attacks depending on what their Primary and Secondary elemental affinities are.
    Primary Affinity
    • Water Primary - Water Sword: Hits once with massive pierce damage, 100 base damage
    • Lighting Primary - Lightning Trap: A chain bomb that floats off to the side a bit. Deals decent damage if it hits, but is more about area denial. Zaps targets nearby it, the zap damage scales with melee. It floats forward before becoming stationary, and having its shock range double. Impact damage is 80 base and the radial explosion damage is 100 base. Shock damage is 10 per server tick. Zaps once, before inflicting the target with an electrocuted buff. This zap damage is 15 base damage that scales with melee per second, being reduced by armor and resistance, while weakening attack and speed by 5%. If the target is immune to electrocution but not electrical damage, it will take horrendous electrocution damage from the trap itself.
    • Ice Primary - :
    • Wind Primary - :
    Secondary Affinity
    • Water Secondary - Sauna Bomb: Single shot projectile shoots an AoE that scalds targets that are hit. Allies stepping within get a temperature resistance buff and a slight heal buff. Full minute cooldown, and the sauna bomb lasts a full minute. Allies have raised insulation and heal by 0.5 hp per second. Enemies take 5 damage per tick that scales with melee and are scalded. Being hit by the projectile itself is 60 direct damage 80 radial damage, of a water damagetype/
    • Lightning Secondary - Volt Arrows: Multiple electrical thorns that shoot out, doing low damage and slowing targets. Each thorn is base 5 damage
    • Ice Secondary - :
    • Wind Secondary - :

A species of mammal-like draconian that is one of Pyria's most common predators. Like a plague, Orthros are nomadic, wandering through a wide variety of biomes to stake out a claim for themselves in the local food chain. Known for living in a wide variety of habitats from deserts to grasslands and jungles. Each head of Orthros is its own separate entity, causing the two to often bicker. However, when working together, their combined ferocity lets them punch far above their weight class. Adaptable and reliable, they are a common and respected mount from Pyria, even moreso now here on the ARKs. It's hard to go wrong with such a reliable steed.

Alpha Orthros
Entity ID: Orthros_Character_bp_Alpha_C
Alpha Orthros can be found and fought in the wild, acting as a form of miniboss. These alphas have unique moves that normal Orthros cannot use. However, if you bring a normal, tamed Orthros into battle against an Alpha, there's a chance your Orthros may permanently learn one of these powerful abilities for itself, after seeing the alpha use them.

Special Attacks
  • Shift+C: Rearing Headswipe. Brings the Orthros forwards before using the momentum to power a strong double head swipe, dealing large amounts of knockback and inflicting a non-dismount stun to smaller targets. Makes an excellent gap closer.
  • X: Maul. Orthros attempts to grab a target. If successful, one head will maul the target, biting multiple times for severe damage, before both heads throw the target off to the left, inflicting a trike-styled stun. If the attack misses, the heads will bicker, and one of the heads will bite the other one, inflicting recoil damage. This recoil damage scales with melee multipliers. Beware, as Alpha Orthros can grab larger targets than normal can.
  • Shift+X: Lunge. A powerful attack that propels Orthros forward, hittting twice: once in the air and once at the end of the animation. Deals decent knockback and damage, making a wonderful gap-closer.

Wildlife - Werewolf
Tameable: Passive
Diet: Carnivore
Preferred Food: Regular Kibble
Temperament: Docile
Habitat: Redwoods, Jungle, Sunken Forest
Entity ID: PyrWerewolf_Character_bp_C
Werewolves are large, bipedal canines rarely found in dense woodland. With a fearsome appearance and powerful muscles, they are apex predators capable of tearing into prey with the greatest of ease, and boast an affinity for nighttime hunting. Despite this, these canines are actually non-hostile to most races. In fact, they are rather friendly and intelligent, and often approach people out of curiosity. However due to their fearsome appearance, nocturnal abilities, and an unfortunate association with the Lycan faction, this now-endangered species was once hunted to near extinction. In truth, Werewolves actually make incredibly versatile tames and companions. During nighttime, they get impressive boons, making them excellent nocturnal attackers. Most interestingly though is what happens if one fosters a werewolf's innate curiosity. Curious of the tools their companions use, werewolves can be given tools or weapons for use or combat. However, they tend to be so eager to play with these new tools, that they often shatter quickly. If given shields, however, they can be trained to guard against incoming attacks, reducing damage taken and opening up opportunities for retaliation.

Base Stats
Health: 375
Stamina: 300

Abilities
  • Werewolves are not able to wear helmets but can wield "Offhand Shields" for extra armor.
  • If equipped with an Offhand Shield, gains the ability to Guard.
  • Can be equipped with weapons and tools, similar to mantis. However, the durability usage is astronomical!
  • During the night, Werewolves gain a buff that increases movement speed by 20%, increases health regeneration by 5 per second, gaining +2 stamina per second, and draining -200 torpidity per second. Their damage output is also increased by 50%
  • Werewolves can only be passive tamed during the night.

Controls
  • Left Click: Claw Slash. Stationary attack with decent DPS, dealing base 40 damage a strike. Inflicts a bleed that deals 15 damage a tick, the damage of the bleed scales with melee, but is weakened by resistances and armor.
  • Right Click: Charge. A quadruped gallop, used for quickly traversing vast distances.
  • C Key: Jab. A powerful punch that deals 40 base damage, also inflicting significant torpor.
  • X Key: Weapon Strike. If you have a weapon equipped, the Werewolf will deliver a powerful strike of base 50 damage, which is affected by the quality and weapon stats of the tool held. However, this comes at significant durability cost: most tools break in 1-4 uses at primitive quality!
  • Shift+ X Key: Guard. If equipped with an offhand shield, the werewolf gains the ability to guard. It's only for a brief second, but if you time it right the werewolf will only take half damage from the incoming attack. This can be enabled via special attacks in the radial wheel, if your werewolf has an offhand shield

CREATURE CLASS - Undead
The classification of Undead needs little explanation, referring to reanimated corpses, usually through black magic. Undeads are mostly mindless, serving as little more than puppets or tools for their masters. While often low in strength, they are quick in development and production, and easy to maintain. A powerful Necromancer is one to be feared, as Undead offer their own wide variety of powerful skills or abilities, at the cost of rampant weaknesses.
CREATURE CLASS - Nearkin
Nearkin refer to sentient and sapient races from Pyria that bear a humanlike appearance, and usually come in both genders. Examples of nearkin include Centaurs, Goblinkin, Elves, and Dwarves.

Refers to all-female species of humanlike, sentient and sapient races that rely on males of other species for a continued lineage. While restricted to a specific gender, these races on average are less abundant than other races of Pyria, and interestingly enough, often rather powerful.

Said to have been created by the gods of Pyria as a way to help humans more easily coexist and understand their more inhuman neighbors, such as Ferals.

  • There is a known bug with Mermaids: If they reach the surface and move too high out of the water, they will die instantly. Wild Mermaids do this easily, but it is possible for tamed Mermaids as well. This is a bug inherent to all purely aquatic ARK creatures such as Icthyosaurs.
  • There is a known bug with Mermaid recruitment: Unlike other sentients, Mermaids will not stay rooted in place once recruitment starts. They may then head straight for the surface, as apparently death is preferable to friendship. It is recommended to lead interested Mermaids into as deep water as you can manage before recruitment starts, to maximize chances of recruitment success. Leaving render distance will NOT prevent them from craving death.

Refers to living beings made by mana interactions, uniting with various living organisms that defy conventional earthling knowledge of a living being. Rocks that move, lightning that forms cohesion, water acting as a singular mass, etc.

Many types of Golems are natural elementals, made when mana fuses with natural environments.

However, some types of elementals can be constructed, such as Iron Golems or Gargoyles, by charging a material with a specified amount of mana and then contributing one's own life energy to the prospect.

Its powerful ranged abilities, as well as immense destructive power and crippling cold make this monstrosity something even the most talented of adventurers would steer clear of. It also makes them quite valuable in war, being able to demolish enemy structures quickly.

Abilities
  • Saddle y/n <?>
  • As they have no brains, all Elementals have a natural buff that prevents them from being controlled by noglins. They are also immune to courage and fear buffs/debuffs based on the Mammoth and Yuty roars.
  • As they are not alive, Elementals and constructs do not benefit from Elixirs. They can still be healed with creature abilities such as sentient healers or Daeodon healing.
  • Glacial Golems passively produce "Amassed Water" in their inventory when they are standing in water. This is a resource that can be used in the alchemy bench in place of a filled water container to craft Water Element. They generate 1 Amassed Water every 60 seconds, to a max held of 3000
  • If Glacier Golem has the Amass buff, it will generate 25 ice element every 60 seconds to a max of 3000 (<?> how does it get this buff?)
  • Glacier Golem ignores 65 percent of incoming damage.
